How would I do this? I have also just read that DVD+R damage the Wii over time. So I'll be shopping for some DVD-R this weekend. What are some good brands?- Qc Storm

Hacking GC with Neogamma/Bad Burn
I've read this is quite a problem. But I believe mine is a tad different and this is why I'm bothering to ask about it. The first GC game I've burned (Path of Radiance) works perfectly. I used a TDK DVD+R (1-16x speed) burned at 3x speed. Played a few hours, all is well. Except now imgburn...- Qc Storm

Hacking It worked yesterday, it doesn't today.
Update : I switched to USB Loader CFG and it works pretty well. No problems so far. I went and tried some other emulators. So far all of them crashed before I could load a game, except 64 and SNES. (THE PSX one even went out with a loud screeching noise that nearly made me shit my pants.) But...- Qc Storm

Hacking It worked yesterday, it doesn't today.
I tried with internet access and everything works. Seems pretty weird to me but I wont complain. Thanks guys.- Qc Storm

I'll try other loaders then. GX looked really good though. Seems weird that SNES9X needs internet though. I'll try that.- Qc Storm

Hacking It worked yesterday, it doesn't today.
And by that I mean EVERYTHING. Yesterday I spent quite a bit of time hacking my Wii. Since it was my first time, it took me a while. With the help of Hackmii I managed to make it. Installed USB Loader GX, tried Pokemon Battle Revolution. All is well. Then I downloaded the SNESX emulator on...- Qc Storm

It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem. -

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
