    Hardware Blinking orange light

(sorry if this is necro-posting, but seemed pointless to open a new topic) I decided to keep going like how it is now, and I have more info on what's happening: Charging with the charger sometimes works 100% fine, sometimes it starts blinking right away, sometimes it starts blinking a couple of...

    Hardware Blinking orange light

I already read a few topics on this, but they don't seem to cover my case specifically so I'm posting it separately. I recently bought a used Vita from a used goods site, it seems to be in pretty good condition but I keep having battery life issues. I leave the console plugged in the AC...

Gaming Delete save from game [Pokemon Ranger]

Actually, after looooong research, I managed to figure out how to do it. Using a flashcart (M3DS Real) and my DS Lite, I was able to load a program though the DS itself called DSaveManager v0.2 Once loaded, I removed my flashcart and inserted the Pokemon Ranger one, then selected "erase save...

Gaming Delete save from game [Pokemon Ranger]

I was given a nice copy of Pokemon Ranger, in great condition, I really want to play it but there's one problem - the game is in German, despite having language selection advertised. As far as I can tell, there is no "normal" way to change the language, unless the save file is deleted (starting...

Hacking Consequences for using a flashcart on a 2DS?

Now THIS is a good answer. Thanks (also thanks to everyone else that provided good info on this)! ^_^

Hacking Consequences for using a flashcart on a 2DS?

I'm not interested in piracy, just a temporary way to play a game until I can afford it or until find an actual copy. Here DS games (especially the ones I want) are very rare (unlike PSP ones...), and eBay or similar sites demand outrageous prices >_<

Hacking Consequences for using a flashcart on a 2DS?

I just received a nice 2DS to replace my beloved DS Lite. While as a collector I stick to buying legit games, I also happen to be using an R4i flashcart for all the games I cant find (or cant find at a reasonable price...). This worked great until now, but seeing how anything past the DSi is so...

Hacking M3DS Real or R4i Gold

I'll be going with this one: https://www.digimartz.com/r4i-gold-revolution-for-3ds-ds-dsl-dsi-v145-freeshipping_p741.html

Hacking M3DS Real or R4i Gold

Is something specific making it better or its just more compatible with games?

Hacking M3DS Real or R4i Gold

I'm currently using a DS Lite in combination with a M3DS Real flashcart (Sakura firmware). I doubt I'll be getting a DSi/DSi XL and I'm sticking to DS games, so here's where I'm doubting: is a R4i Gold worth getting? The M3DS Real doesn't seem to work with some games (took me a LOT to get The...

Misc Desperately in need of a USB adapter for DS/Wii that WORKS

I'm not familiar with the DS WiFi adapter so I cant help with it...but have you tried a simple ad-hoc connection using a normal WiFi card? (connect the PC/Laptop via LAN to the router/modem, and use your WiFi card to create a ad-hoc connection between the DS and the PC/Laptop) If you have and...

Gaming How does RAM pack work?

That's sort've sad to hear I guess. Well, guess it's not really worth much then. I guess QuakeDS and Quake 2 are the highlight of the RAM pack. Still, if anyone knows any other apps/games that use it, being homebrew or commercial, or any other use for it (in the console that is), do let me...

Gaming How does RAM pack work?

Not sure if this is fo the acessories section, but seems like every post there is about flash cards so I'll post it here just in case. My question is: does the RAM expansion (the one included with the DS Browser) influence games? I mean if I leave it in while using my flash card (M3DS Real v2)...

Oh, didn't know that. Well, thanks for the info.

    Homebrew Updates about nesDS...

I haven't read all 17 pages (cant spare much time lately), but I wanted to ask: Has anyone noticed that some games play too fast? An example would be Super Mario Bros. which seems to run at aproximately x1.5 faster than normal. Am I doing something wrong or it's just a thing of the emulator at...

    Hacking M3DS Real question/s

Well, the memory card's hardware seems to be perfectly functional after some tests (I work as tech support and I took my card to work for a funccionality test, which turned out ok). The problem seems to be a memory card class (speed) issue...from what I read on the internet, it's recommended to...

ROM Hack Official translation requests topic

Game Name: RPG Maker DS Release Date: March 11, 2011 Game Info: There really isn't any specific info about it. It's a game that CREATES classic-style RPG games (the same thing as RPG Maker for PC). Detailed info and video previews can be found here: http://www.rpgmakerds.com/

    Hacking M3DS Real question/s

Well, the memory card was brand new when I got it, but so far seems like it's the more likely reason (after reporting the incompatibility issue, I was suggested to try a different one in their forums). Still, if you have time/chance to try it with the new firmware, I'd apreciate it if you share...

    Hacking M3DS Real question/s

Well, other than Castlevania's menu problem, all other incompatibilities seem to be there. No idea what changed with the trim tool, but at least now I have a better chance to play the game. XD

    Hacking M3DS Real question/s

I would like to mention something here that happened a few minutes ago: I just found and used the "DS-Rom Trim Tool" and it seems that the Castlevania P.O.R. game now DOES let me use the start button menu and switch weapons and stuff, but sometimes (seems like at random) it still freezes.
