sry for all the newbish questions, but as far as it goes, its not bad to be carefull.. if I update my Wii to lets say 4.1 or 4.2 would it brick it if I got a softmoded or chiped wii?- pelverish

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid -
