    so are you saying that it wont work if you're usin usb loader? is using a channel to load the game from usb the same as using a usb loader then loading the game. I wont be able to use the DLC package?

    i believe that you dont have the correct app file. I had the same error and i used NUS to get the wad first then i used wad unpacker and it spit out a new 000001app file then i renamed that file to the 42.app file ( 42 in my case cuz i have 3.2 U ) and it worked fine.

    Yes thanks I'm aware of wich is for wich. I already have the files in seperate folders so i dont mix them up. I just wanted to be sure on how to recover if i was to mess up on something. But it seems as long as i created for the appropriate system and region i should be fine.

    thank you all for your input. to respond to DeadlyFoez here's what i got wii system 3.2(U) softmod with TP hack Got HBC Preloader .29 (all available hacks to date) bootmii. as IOS ( couldnt install as boot2) cios rev 13b all IOS except 60 61. I dont know what else you might need.
