Hacking Wii Hard Drive Won't Initialize

So sometime this summer my Wii's hard drive started becoming much less responsive. Unlike before, when CoverFloader would boot up snappily in a few seconds, it now always seems to hang on "Initializing Disc". Nowadays, it takes a few minutes to start, if it does at all. I haven't bothered...

Hacking Why is Nintendo so dumb?

I understand why Nintendo is releasing this, it IS a really smart move, the title was just an attention grabber, and me venting a little bit. They aren't dumb per say, Nintendo's just that friend you had in 4th grade that hung out with you for 20 years just so he could fuck your mom. It blows.

Hacking Why is Nintendo so dumb?

I understand why the quality and quantity of Nintendo's first party titles have declined, its good for business to appeal to these new markets, but this DSiXL is just absurd. Who else remembers the first time they held their gameboy micro? Having an amazing library of games, on a device...

Hacking Cover Flow USB ISO Loader by Beardface

Thanks for the advice, I let it sit for a while, and eventually, after 15 minutes or so, one time it booted fine. This leads me to believe its a hard drive problem /:(. No matter though, I'll start my usb-loader folder fresh again, and worst case scenario, turn my 80gb Classic into my Wii's...

Hacking Cover Flow USB ISO Loader by Beardface

Grrr. Starting today, I haven't been able to launch this app. It hangs on Initializing Disc, on every version now. I haven't changed anything, it just started doing this. I've tried changing cIOS between 13a, 12, and 11. To no avail, as well as trying version 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2a.

    Hacking gamecube question

No, but if someone tried hard enough they might be able to get Action Replay to work. If you burn it to a disc it won't run on Backup Launcher. Otherwise one could use the swap disc option with that and the game which you wanna cheat on, and then go.

Hacking Do you have an unused Xbox360 HDD sitting around?

No one missed it, I guess we don't have a lot of 360 owners here though. I don't know what I'd do with 20g of hard drive space though, especially for Wii games. I didn't know you could buy 60gig hard drives, I've been wanting to upgrade from 20, however it seems that the price of the 120...

ROM Hack Notice to all Homebrew Developers

True, however I'm suggesting that developers use this in addition to their own logos and whatnot.

ROM Hack Notice to all Homebrew Developers

The other day, whilst pondering all things Nintendo, I realized that the entire Nintendo hacking community, from GBA to DS to Wii developers, could use something to bring us together. Seeing as I'm not such a great homebrew developer myself, I took my amateur photoshop skills and created the...

ROM Hack Super Mario Advance 4 : Super Mario Bros 3

The game is a remake of Super Mario Bros. 3. Nintendo's line of GBA remakes are called Super Mario Advance series. This is the fourth in their series of remakes.

ROM Hack How to edit pokemon gba title screens

Haven't hacked pokemon games in a looong time... From what I remember, that's a FireRed hack, so you wanna use UNLZ.gba and I think the title is up in the low 2000's. For more help, find the ROM Hacking section on pokecommunity.org, they've got an excellent hacking community.

    Hacking Zantzue's Anti-brick Disc

Nevermind the negative comments, this is a very useful tool! Now wiis are virtually unbrickable! Those of us with LU64s thank you very much.

WiiWare #0367 - Pokémon Fushigi no Dungeon: Mezase! Hikari no Bouk

I don't know, the mystery dungeon games always reminded me of mixing Pokemon and Diablo, two awesome franchises I've always loved. Playing 2D games on the huge, clunky DS always makes the games feel cheap, so the only good one is Red Rescue Team, but playing that on a GameBoy Micro is pure...

    Gaming Animal Crossing City Folk

Does anybody have a link to download the soundtrack for this game? I want the Wild World/City Folk soundtrack, and although the City Folk one is a remastered version of the Wild World soundtrack, I'm still having some trouble finding it.

Gaming Do you feel bad pirating DS games?

Hell no. Nintendo screwed us over after making the sleek, portable, godsend that was the Advance SP, followed by the even more beautiful GameBoy Micro, and then ditched the gameboy altogether for a big, clunky device, 4x the size that still just plays mediocre 2D games (aside from a few gems...
