    I think that it is. It seperates the color and brightness signals like component does, and composite does NOT. I think that is whhy the component displays in color - i'll bet the wii s-video connectors will show in color and not black and white.

    it could also be the iso's. i'll bet that some of the piratebay and demonoid iso's are originally PAL and just patched to ntsc and released as USA roms. there are like 8 different boom blox iso's on piratebay. also, i wonder how the dvd recorder connects to the tv..
