    Sorry, I didn't mean to post this in the GBA section. I actually put in that post with the DSi's web browser. If there is a way for an admin to move it, please move this over to NDS - flashing hardware - acekard.

    Just got home w/ the DSi after picking it up at midnight release from GameStop, updated firmware to get online, and ACEKARD 2i is working. Just an FYI, looks like Nintendo has held off from blocking this chip (for now) hopefully Acekard can keep up w/ any firmware updates. cheers!

    How to I get the metal cap in MARIO 64 DS. The FAQs I dig up say something about riding an animal to metal doors but it doesn't say whate stage. I've tried riding the owl in Whomp's Fortress but I don't see a metal doubledoor anywhere. o_O Someone please help a rock-head out... cheers

    Just for grins, have you pressed "start" in pogoshell to see how big the save file is and if it looks weird in the sram banks perhaps see if there is anything in bank 2 or 3?

    ok ok, I'm a dumb arse. I was trying to do multiple patches to the rom w/ fat v8. I tried FATv8 again with just doing the sram patch and it worked. It's running like a champ now. move along people, there's nothing to see here...
