    My wii had 3.3u on it when I bought it, and when ever I try to upgrade to a higher system menu most of the time it will lock up when I turn it on, before it even gets to the health screen. For some reason 3.3 and 3.2 work fine however.

    Reinstalling the ios and system menu didn't change anything. I just got tired of it and reloaded the nand backup I made while it was still acting up but manageable. I appreciate all you guys trying to help me, but I think I'm done messing with it.

    It seemed to work fine for me. I loaded up a copy of the nand I made formated it and put "4.1u" in the top left box and pressed get it. Was that what I was suppose to do? The nandBinCheck log from the nand it made is in my previous post.

    Does HG/SS have the multi-region pokedex like platinum, if it does then the pokedex entries being in Japanese might be because you are getting a Japanese region pokemon, since this is the Japanese rom. Has anyone tried trading over a US pokemon to see if gives you the English pokedex entry?
