Misc Has anyone attempted to abuse the Nintendo Zone streetpass relay?

Nah, it can't take in your home wifi AND send out a different wifi signal. One way street, there.

I'm yet to see a pattern, either. But the funny thing is, I got 3,000 from him up there. It was about 4 times more than I needed for the next battle. I felt like I was cheating. Then I got to the next one, and it was me against 8,000. So much for that.

Hey, I just streepassed you! Thanks for boosting my Warrior's Way army to nearly undeafatable status! Also, yeah, turns out my router actually is DD-WRT compatible. Pretty painless setup.

Misc Has anyone attempted to abuse the Nintendo Zone streetpass relay?

Ok, after over an hour of digging into this on Android 4.2.2, I have to admit defeat. I'm on a Verizon Galaxy Nexus (toro) with CM10.1.2 (4.2.2). Here's what I've done: First, this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32222083&postcount=8 Evidently the problem stems from...

Misc Has anyone attempted to abuse the Nintendo Zone streetpass relay?

It seems it isn't possible to spoof the MAC address on 4.2.2. I've tried pretty much everything so far. WiFi Tether 3.4e, a couple MAC spoofing apps, commands in terminal emulator, manually editing files, nothing works. Absolutely nothing will actually spoof the MAC address. I also do not have...

I'm using attwifi and the 40:53:50:4F:4F:etc range.

Misc Has anyone attempted to abuse the Nintendo Zone streetpass relay?

Well, I've almost got it to work on my Galaxy Nexus. The SSID and MAC are all fine. The 3DS sees it as a NZ, they connect and talk and all that good stuff... but no StreetPasses at all. I can see it trying, but it never seems to actually finish. It'll get to about 20-22bB downloaded, and...

    Wii #XXXX - Metroid: Other M (USA)

Chalk up another success story. Configurable USB loader, FAT32, cIOSx20b as 57, slot 249, all that jazz. No freezes or anything, and all is well so far. And yes, this game is fandamntastic.

    Wii #XXXX - Metroid: Other M (USA)

Downloading now, and I already have it reserved/paid off at Gamestop. I always buy the games I enjoy/anticipate. But if I can play it early, so be it.

Knights in the Nightmare for PSP announced by Atlus

I think it's just that some people want simple portable games. KitN was very in depth, and required more than just a quick power on and go. Plus, some people aren't interested in learning a game before playing it, and just want to dive in. I personally think this is one of the best games in the...

Hacking Help with 3in1 save backup/restore

I just bought Picross3D, yet I've been playing the (J) rom release since it was dumped. I've solved over 300 puzzles, and used it with the (U) release recently, too. I personally buy the games I really enjoy, so this was a must-buy. Normally, when I buy the retail game, I use the 3in1 NDS Backup...

    3d ds game from japan

Best reply yet. You know this is excellent use of the technology in the DSi when someone actually thinks it's fake.

    DS #4718: Picross 3D (Europe)

I seriously jumped in my chair a little bit upon seeing this. I've finished over 240 puzzles in the Japanese release, and I can't get this one on my card fast enough.

    DS #4687: RagnarÃk DS (USA)

I have to agree with this. I played the hell out of Ragnarok Online (PC, that is), and loved it. So naturally, I was looking forward to this. But the first thing I was greeted by was a crapton of dialog, and a tutorial telling me how to use the touchscreen to tap enemies. The UI is functional...

WiiWare #0543 - Blaster Master Overdrive (USA)

Sure enough, this is good stuff. It retains the feel of the original, while still being a nice upgrade. Funny thing is, this almost has a Metroidvania feel to it, what with the upgrades and such. The Sophia's controls are a little stickier than the original, but it's not too bad. Jason- I mean...

WiiWare #0543 - Blaster Master Overdrive (USA)

Installed and loaded fine on my 4.2U. And now, allow me to freak out a little bit. HOT DAMN I'm happy to see this. The original Blaster Master is honestly one of my top 10 games ever. I played the hell out of that game, and still do occasionally. And this, oh man, this. The music alone is...

Gaming Spirit Tracks = Worst Zelda Game EVER!

Nobody is going to argue with you about the Ocean King's Temple being an utter garbage idea. Like I said, it almost killed PH for me. And I actually praise ST for getting rid of that wretched idea. But the other problems (no real overworld, for example), are not enough to forgive it. And that it...

Gaming Spirit Tracks = Worst Zelda Game EVER!

Exactly. I'm really not liking this trend of cutting the overworld. That's been a core aspect of Zelda games since NES. Why ever they thought it would be a good idea to hinder that, I'll never understand.

Gaming Spirit Tracks = Worst Zelda Game EVER!

I've been trying to force myself to play Spirit Tracks, but I'm having a hard time doing it. I'm pretty much right at the end already, but I'd like to get as many heart containers/items as I can first. It just is not a very good Zelda game, I feel. Some quick reasons: No overworld. Sure...
