DS #4086: Sonic Chronicles: Yamijigen Kara no Shinryakusya (Japan)

You seem like a nice boy. So you should realise that there hasn't been a truly great Sonic game since the MegaDrive. Don't insult people. It's not nice.

DS #2207: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Korea)

Yes. Attach rate in Korea is less than 1 software to 1 hardware.

    DS #2195: Postman Pat (Europe)

No, Mailstrom with an i, not an e ;) Featuring Postman Nasty. Had mine until recently but it was all taking up too much space so it went to a more appreciative household. Now mainly play Speccy games using ZXDS. Screen ratios match 1:1 and the games look great on the DS screen :)

    DS #2195: Postman Pat (Europe)

England in the 80's, as I was at school then :) Oh and this is nowhere near as good as Mailstrom on the ZX Spectrum :-D

DS #2099: Loopop Cube: Loop Salad DS (Japan)

How can you not love that Cake song on the first level set? And isn't that penguin outfit adorable? And yes, it's Puzznic but with a controllable avatar instead of an icon, which makes it similar but in a way very different too. For some reason though, purely because it has the girl to...

DS #2117: Imagine: Figure Skater (USA)

This is the US version of Kuru Kuru Princess, which is actually quite fun if you like playing dressing up with pre-pubescent girls and doing rhythm type skate routines. Don't hate it, it's good for kids and girls, broadening the market in order to pay for the games that have some balls. Ubisoft...

    Games that should burn

No amen from me on that, although the DS version is severely underwhelming compared to the N64/GC original. My candidate for worst game ever: DS Original Frisbee Disc Sports: Ultimate & Golf. Try it. It's even worse than MK Mythologies Sub Zero. 4-way control where the CPU can run in any...

DS #1492: Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber (Europe)

OK, here's a funny one. I have a Supercard SD (slot 2 GBA device) booted with Datel Max Media Player. With this game sometimes the screens are switched i.e. things are falling from the top of the touch screen to the bottom, then onto the top screen, and I'm controlling DK on the bottom of the...

Gaming FIFA 07 problem with supercard

Hi all, having a problem getting FIFA 07 to work properly. Tried both U and E versions. It boots fine using the Enable Patch Card Access option, but then after I've entered my name and chosen a team it says "The FIFA 07 save file has become corrupted and will be deleted" or something like that...

    ^^ndstitle-1197^^

I get to register my name and team then it says the FIFA 07 save is corrupt and will be deleted. Then it goes to black screen and crashes. Using Supercard SD with Enable Patch Cartridge access on. Any ideas? Thanks.

Gaming Dawn of Sorrow not working on Supercard CF

Funny, I have exactly the same problem here, using a rom that someone else with an M3 has no problem running. No options I check make any difference and I just get white screens. Running a Supercard SD with Max Media Launcher on a DS Lite (purple Pictochat crash screen bios). Have tried software...

    ^^ndstitle-1194^^

Yo! I have Supercard SD booting with Max Media Launcher and using conversion software v2.56 but I get major gameplay slowdown in between scenes. When it boots it takes 20 seconds to go from a black screen to the titles, then in between everywhere you'd expect it to load I get a 10 second wait on...

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
