Used to wear glasses, switched to contacts a few months ago. One of the best decisions I have made, they look better and once I put them in, I don't notice them unless I think about having them in or I am taking them out.
Don't OC it to 3ghz straight. Go to 2.5 then 2.6 and so on until you can't boot with stock voltage. Then up the voltage bit by bit until you can. Check temps once a while as well.

Dosen't look too bad for web surfing and 1.6. Is pretty much identical to the PC i am using atm and atm it has 10 mins left and is going for £60. I would go for it.
If your overclocking, I would suggest higher quality RAM.
