    144Hz. Some panels are reported fake 240Hz (where the panel supports 240Hz, but it does frame doubling and interpolation at a lower refresh). 144Hz might be a bit to fast, so enable the lowest setting motion blur if you don't need high reaction time.

    For me, I could care less that I'm playing at less than 240fps, that's still more than enough for efficient gameplay.
    What I want is for it to be more appealing to the eye, whether it's from legitimate Hz or just implemented frames.
    In my mind, a mere 50 bones is WELL worth spending on 100 more frames, even if it is only visual.

    In that case get a fake 240Hz one with built-in motion blur and frame interpolation.

    @Seriel You can't see a significant difference because there isn't one in the first place. 75hz is very close to 60hz.

    After getting used to 144hz, it's very difficult to play on 60hz. 144hz is just so smooth.

    Go play all the old ones again for example, only main game from FF9 or earlier that still holds up is FF6, FF7 just seems like a drag and how it keeps getting re-released/re-made/etc. just to pummel it in your brain is the main reason so many people think it's good. Cloud is a wuss, Sephiroth is the cool one and he hardly gets screentime in FF7 with most of the game being Cloud trying to be the resistance:/

    FF7 is overhyped definitely. I fucking hate the constant ports and spinoffs on the game, it over-saturates it beyond belief.
    And I also agree that this makes a ton of gamer claim that FF7 is the best when they haven't given FF6 or FF9 a try.
    After I played FF6 and Chrono Trigger, I was pretty skeptical of FF7 due to the constant hype surrounding it.

    I agree, but I'm gonna give credit to Crisis Core FF7, that was a real masterpiece and probably my most played FF game after DD012FF. The whole backstory of the characters, the plot, buildup, everything was just beautiful and getting to know Aerith as Zack among other things really fleshed out the story. Too bad the actual FF7 didn't have that kind of depth in the story...

    1.7.10 is also is the easiest for modders to dev for, newer versions are pain even though they are supposed to be easier.
