  • Found my missing AGS-101 yesterday. I personally bought this one back in 2002 after saving my Job Corps money for a month. I thought it got stolen 2 years ago.

No, I packed it in a box when I moved, but it wasn't in the box I expected. And I haven't unpacked about 65% of my stuff after moving, since my place is small.

I was in the garage looking for an Xbox controller when I found it in my playstation box at the bottom.
    Uh oh... 😂

I hope the lockpick devs tell Nintendo to kick rocks.

I'm willing to bet that's exactly who pressured them to do this. Probably caved under the pressure of possibly being sued for harboring the leaker.
Got some new CDs at the Icon For Hire concert in Portland Oregon. 🤘

The Reckoning by Icon For Hire and a self-titled EP by Hooked Like Helen. (A good alt rock opening band)

Probably a cheap oak or cedar plank, since they have to crank out a bunch of them. It's gotta be cheap and easy to mass-produce.
    Grizzco Blaster update:
I downloaded the ripped model from Splatoon 2, and traced the important parts I can 3D print using primitives so far. This is not gonna be easy to print and build. The "metal frame" is gonna be made of half inch tubing, painted metallic. The only part I'm using from the original model is the handle and trigger, saving me a bunch of work on those.

Been using my NDS, a hex editor, BennVenn's Joey Jr, some help on his Discord, and my own dumb luck, but I've finally figured out how to replace the 21 GBA roms on the 369-in-1 bootleg cart.

In the photos you can see I've started adding my own games, and I've begun cleaning up the sloppy names as well on the first 3 pages, removing the numbers too. I don't know if I'll keep going beyond the 3 pages, but major progress has been made.

All the games I flashed to the cart using my NDS have been SRAM-patched, and then I used the batteryless autopatcher to make sure they save their progress back inside the ROM file, as this cartridge has no save battery.

I don't think I can replace Spiderman 3 though, because the menu is attached to that ROM for whatever reason.
Oh my god, we're getting a Tamagotchi core for the Analogue Pocket!!! :yaysp:

My 4th gen iPod is getting an internal Bluetooth 5.0 upgrade later today. My mail has yet to be delivered for a few more hours. 🥺

It has a 128GB SD card, runs RockBox 3.15 stable, a new 1000mah battery, and contains a large chunk of my FLAC collection. I'll make a new post after the Bluetooth mod is completed.

My next cosplay prop is going to be very difficult to create... But I'm going after making a Grizzco Blaster from Splatoon 2 and 3.

I've got my printer well-dialed in, and I adjust my slicer settings per print. I never get spaghetti messes either. I always watch the first few layers go down, and if the supports don't stick, I slow the speed down and try again.

I also don't bother with wetsanding the lines down because I don't care about them much. I can print in the highest quality and barely even see them. I also try to print in the color I need it to be to avoid painting if all possible.

Like I said, I'm a little behind the state of the art. Doesn't help that every 3D printing video has to have at least one disaster in the process (which I suspect makes for better television) (curse you, Zack Freedman).
I'm very much in favor of printing fiddly miniature details.
So my final nametag version is built with the Raspberry Pi Pico, for ease of use. Micro USB can be used to program or power the unit. Has power Switch on the side, and clips for easy mounting on the back. Also has a spot to keep the USB when not in use.

The white USB cord is hardwired, for power only. The potentiometer on the back adjusts the screen contrast. I changed the way it was assembled too, with the bulk of the shell now being the front, and the panel cover being the rear plate. This hides the screws on the backside, and keeps it looking nice and clean.

I've retired the old prototype to the inside of my PC case. I'll be using the new one in the pics above for work.
