    It would be a realistic wait if it had just been announced, but it's been years already, I thought it would've come out by now. It's a preorder, not a Kickstarter, that kind of wait for a preorder is uncommon. Normally, you'd expect them to be ready to do large production runs to meet preorder demand as larger production runs also helps keep costs down. But I suppose that might be hard with the chip shortages.

    The design and R&D stages Kickstarters go through have already been completed, the product looks like it's mostly finalized (minus software updates to come later) so there shouldn't be much holding them back from starting mass production right now.

    Are there any public numbers for how many preorders they are getting or how many units they are producing per batch and a timeframe for batches? It's a niche market so I can't imagine the numbers are in the hundreds of thousands, maybe in the tens.

    Even the new SanDisk MicroSD reader I got with a 400GB SanDisk Extreme card is just USB 2.0 so for some reason SD card readers seem to be behind the times especially considering most SD cards nowadays are faster than USB 2.0 speeds allow at least on reads..

    If it was just like an extra $10/year added to the $20/yr, I'd be fine. But forcing in a bundled DLC for a game I don't even own doesn't justify raping my wallet for $50/yr. I guess they're trying to make up for those Sora royalties, eh?

    Yeah. That's the way the market headed, but I thought for a long time that Nintendo was better than that, and they've slowly but surely been heading in the same direction as the rest of the market. In some ways even worse, but at least they don't go too heavy on the microtransactions and pay to win *yet* they just license their IPs out to mobile game developers to do that for then instead. Which isn't much better.

    Thank you for finding my mothers death amusing enough, to like my post with a "Haha". It sure was funny cleaning out her bed when she had an accident, because the chemo made her so sick she couldn't get up. It was even more fun when she lost her hair and I had to comfort her for days. Lots of funny moments during that time, really glad you liked it. You're a terrible human being, trully sickening

    She is absolutely not a person who could have done this, but if she did it, she definitely clicked the wrong icon. Don't attack head on right away...rather try to clear up the misunderstanding.

    I certainly didn't laugh react to your loss, that would truly be inhumane of me. I laugh reacted to you using that loss as the reason that you won't get the vaccine. Because that part was just ridiculous. As someone who has just lost 4 family members of my own and two friends these past 2 years, You have my deepest condolences about losing your mother. :( I would never joke about that.

    My girlfriend bought a set of cat (maybe fox?) ears, paws for the hands, and tail from a furry's booth at an anime convention. They're all striped grey and teal, because she was the Cheshire cat from the Alice in Wonderland live-action movie for the convention.

    She even managed to find a wig with the same 2 colors in it to go with the outfit, it's an amazing cosplay. But I just need my cat ears for casual wear in public, and for halloween. FYI, I'm not a furry. Just love cat ears and neko anime girls. UwU

    I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer

    @TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

    I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version

    @Sicklyboy I am wanting to fully change the game and bend it to my will lol. I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!

    I am definitely considering porting over some of the EU features without using the actual ROM itself, tbh that would probably be the best way to go about it... but i'm sad that the voice acting is so.... not good on the US version. May not be a way around that though
