On the serious side, I'm happy that "spanking" children is outlawed in Germany - which not all people seem to know. Quite a few advocates of physical violence as method for child discipline started arguing with me... and were shocked to hear that they would be breaking the law (and that I would not hesitate to inform the authorities if I get aware of "spanking").

Whenever something hits me on the psycho-level, I become unable to do my "work" on the forum (mostly helping in the 3DS section). The picture clearly says: "Sinchen is not available at the moment." I might even not even log in for, so it makes sense leaving a clear note. Else somebody might believe I actively ignore them when not receiving a reply.

Even that much? That seems absurd to me, like all extreme behavior. A spanking has never killed anyone, but it should be done knowledgeably, only when strictly necessary, not sadistically or in anger, but with sorrow and regret, and accompanied by due explanation. Simple talk often leads nowhere.
