    Personally, I'd rather go back to high school than continue with university - the latter's worse in every aspect. In my experience, after learning the basics of one subject for twelve weeks (e.g. Java, Python, some business classes) it's almost never brought up again in future semesters.

    Compare this to high school, where the basic Maths or History or Science skills are continually being built upon by having *multiple* classes each week, for the majority of the year, then continued and advanced in future years - SO. MUCH. BETTER.

    As for the social aspect, in high school you're with pretty much the same group for seven years, even across classes - whereas in uni, each subject has brand-new faces and once those twelve weeks end you almost never see them again. How's that conducive to socialising???

    Have you tried the global rom though? That's official and doesn't have any chinese bloatware, but it does have a lot of google apps. The eu MIUI is unofficial.

    For debloating, since you're unlocking the bootloader, the best way I think would be to root the phone and use Titanium Backup to completely remove any apps or freeze some. You can unroot after if you don't want it.

    Ah probably, they do have a lot of features. Since it's also based on the China rom, you get to keep the MIUI Dialer and Contacts which are way better than the Google counterparts.

    I guess it's probably better than global. It's just that I used one a long time ago on the Mi 4C and the battery life sucked with their rom, so I've used global roms ever since.

    The screen on this is surprisingly good too, not nearly as good as 10's AMOLED but still v good

    The 10 and others also have high refresh rate, and for daily mobile usage it's an amazing experience. I recommend you look for that feature in your next purchase.

    Tenderloin is the HP Touchpad! Old tablet from nearly a decade ago now that originally ran WebOS which was...terrible, of course. But Android devs to the rescue made it a really good Android tablet for the time. Still have a couple sitting around somewhere lol

    Yeah exactly. Even on YouTube I barely go fullscreen unless it's a special occasion, and then I never notice the borders anyway.

    I'm not all that into phones, so I don't quite recall what the S20 (really? What happened to 10-19?) or any other more recent model looks like in terms of "black bars", but I do recall some recent iPhones having a notch at the top for the camera; that would bug me.
    On the S9+, it's just two pretty-thin black bars at the top and bottom, inconspicuous to the point that I never thought about it until now.

    Yeah, I don't understand why they ported VII first. They should've ported the trilogy first and then VII. VII references the first three games quite a bit. And that's no good for new players. It would spoil some things.

    Sounds like the HDD itself is worth 80-90$ (new), and you could sell the rest for ~50-80$ ? Perhaps I overvalue it a bit too much. If the HDD is a slow piece of crap then 80-90$ sounds reasonable for the entire PC.

    If you need money more than a crappy backup PC then sell it, otherwise just keep it around due to its low resell value.
