male discrimination isnt real lmao
AkiraKurusu
AkiraKurusu
It actually is though - more men end up in jail than women, men receive harsher sentences for the same crimes, the majority of the homeless population and workplace fatalities and suicide victims are male, boys' education is lagging behind girls' resulting in fewer men going to tertiary education, there's very few male shelters for domestic abuse or rape...
AkiraKurusu
AkiraKurusu
rape is still largely seen as a man-on-woman-only crime (leaving the countless male victims up a creek without a paddle), child support and divorce suits are biased towards women, the introduction of the "#MeToo" witch-hunt has left the presumption of innocence ignored and the accused unable to defend themselves - thus ruining countless lives through mere accusations and allegations.
AkiraKurusu

Oh, and men are automatically seen as potential pedophiles when around children, even though the vast majority aren't - leading to known cases of airplane stewardesses asking men to move just because they were sitting next to a kid, and fewer male primary school teachers, along with men being advised against spending time with nieces and nephews in public.

Male genital mutilation - "circumcision" - is still unfortunately legal in many countries, despite female genital mutilation being seen as a horrendous crime, despite the dangers posed on male babies during the procedure, despite the utter lack of benefits. All because of some ancient, disgusting tradition.

In quite a few countries, only men are drafted into the military, despite women now being able to join up voluntarily. Additionally, paternity fraud is a known issue, and prostate cancer isn't as well-advertised as breast cancer.

I still have my foreskin, because my family luckily doesn't believe in barbaric practices. As for the "#MeToo" witch-hunt, the legal bedrock of Western judicial systems is to DOUBT any accusation UNTIL and UNLESS the accused's proven guilty in a proper court of law, where actual evidence is displayed and discussed. None of that happens with that witch-hunt.

I will not "listen" to supposed victims when they fail to go through the proper channels, and instead just use the awful nature of the crime to dogpile on men just because of perceived slights or popularity. "Listen and Believe"...ugh, how disgustingly WRONG.

You know whats even more disgusting? Rape
AkiraKurusu
AkiraKurusu
Yes, I agree rape is a horrific crime, but that's exactly why it shouldn't just be shouted out on the Internet - that's exactly why there should be proper court cases and stuff before a man's reputation is ruined.
AkiraKurusu
AkiraKurusu
The "court of public opinion" is not a good place to settle an actual rape case. It's the legal system that is best equipped for serious crimes like these.
"#MeToo" is never the correct idea.

Lmao imagine thinking the legal system cares, enjoy your boot bootlicker

Not sure how to tell you this but someones safety is more important than someones career
RichardTheKing

Hello? It's not just "someone's career", batfucker - it's "someone's entire reputation, relationships, career, mental health, and life".
If an innocent man is accused of rape by a scornful ex-girlfriend - which has happened before - then is it RIGHT for him to be considered a pariah by the ENTIRE WORLD, for something he never actually did?
RichardTheKing
RichardTheKing
Is it right for him to lose everything based off the words of a single person who doesn't even need to provide evidence? NO, it isn't.
Sure, we don't know how many "MeToo" accusations are false, but if even a few of them can irreparably harm an innocent man - or men - then we, by all rights, should doubt every single one of them. The bedrock of Western judicial systems.
RichardTheKing
RichardTheKing
Just as Akira said, doubt is the ethically right thing to do in all circumstances. If you believe it's perfectly fine to sacrifice any number of innocent men just to ensure any number of guilty men (and it's *always* men, or boys; never any females) are punished, then...I don't even want to know how your mind works.
RichardTheKing
RichardTheKing
Oh, and it doesn't have to be a "scornful ex-girlfriend"; it could be a jealous woman, an angry female co-worker, a woman wanting to blackmail the man with the threat of the nuclear accusation - anything.
AkiraKurusu
AkiraKurusu
Thank you, @RichardTheKing, for clarifying my points.
It's never okay to rape; that's an incredibly horrific act that can scar a person for life.
It's ALSO never okay to not doubt a rape accusation, as believing it, demonising the accused, can scar the accused for life if he's in fact innocent, and can drive him to suicide.
