  • No one: Nintendo Switch game reviews: "There are some FPS drops"

But hey, it's not like I'm not used to it. Never been able to play a PC game without at least some amount of choppiness or lag. Seems like even if I close everything there's still something going on in the background that will occasionally cause framedrops. And getting a smooth 60 FPS is impossible.

I was surprised at how much choppier Freedom Planet ran on my PC, after having played the nindie demo on Wii U and then buying it on PC because it was way cheaper. And that's not exactly a demanding game. Didn't stop me from enjoying the game, but it does kind of bother me because other people don't seem to have this problem.
Nintendo just tweeted there’s a Mario Maker 2 update that adds online multiplayer (i think?) and then instantly deleted it. Hmmmm

    Added “Play with friends”
You can now play online with friends in either Multiplayer Versus or Multiplayer Co-op modes.
You can now select courses uploaded to Course World as well as courses saved to Coursebot.
The Nintendo Switch Online mobile app is now supported.

My school started selling only tiny water bottles. two of them doesn’t even equal one of what they used to be. they better not charge extra
I got a snes off of ebay and it was supposed to come with games and now the seller says that it was a mistake that it said that. ooh boy...

... now after bickering with him over the false ad i’m gonna have to go through ebay to get my money back. it’s never easy, is it?

It's not, but if the listing had eBay buyer protection, you should be able to get your money back *and* possibly keep the SNES.

Oh yeah, it’s got the eBay money back thing. I hope i can keep the snes too but it doesn’t seem so by the looks of it....
Stupid question, how do you secure and rf/coax cable? i can’t get it to stay in my sega genesis. i thought they were supposed to screw in?

There’s definitely supposed to be a little part you twist/screw into place on the TV. Not sure about the Genesis but I assume it’d be the exact same? There’s like this bolt thing that keeps it in.

The tv part does screw in, but the genesis just... doesn’t. maybe since mine was used it was screwed in and out so extensively that it’s smooth now? no idea but i’ve been going nuts trying to get it to stay in place.
I’m excited for my SNES to come in the mail so I can play Bubsy on original hardware. That’s everyone’s goal in life, right?

Smh. Bubsy is clearly better on the Genesis. Now you have to buy a Genesis mini to really fulfill your true mission in life

Hm, the playstation classic is on sale now. ( or perhaps another permanent price drop? ) maybe i'll buy one of those and play the truly best bubsy game: Bubsy 3D.

glad that people sell cheap joycon parts. finally replacing a stick/all the latches so it stays connected to the console.

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
