Woah no way how did you guess I like Scott pilgrim. Also, for my consoles, I own a modded 2ds xl, ofw switch, ofw 360, and I’m buying a wii tomorrow from this awesome local game shop near me(it’s called world 8 for those of you curious)
Ahh, very nice. World 8, huh? Haven't heard of it, so I guess it isn't near me.

Speaking of which, what consoles do you own?
The list is pretty damn long, so I've made a blog post with a list of all the consoles I own that you can check here.
The wii is a great console. It’s perfect to setup as an emulation station. I don’t use retroarch on it, but it’s got some great standalone emulators. Which model wii are you getting? I’ve got the first version. It’s got slots for GameCube controllers and memory cards. Nintendont is a great little app for GameCube loading.

Bad news, no wii, was busy this weekend, and the store is closed on Sunday
Welcome! I never did make one of these threads, so you're ahead of me in some ways lol.
Bummer about not getting a wii! Surely there will be another in stock sometime. Maybe check ebay?
That said, if you have a semi-recent laptop with a 'real' gfx card, It might be even better to just buy a dolphin bar and wiimote. Playing GC/Wii games @ 1080p has been amazing. I've had my wii in a box for at least 5 years now. Even my (early) 2011 macbook pro (1gb vram) could run most wii games at full speed. (you can still buy the games and rip them yourself if you're against downloading iso's!)
I need to check out Scott Pilgrim soon. Heard great things. Even had a Swap offer to trade my old 3ds for a collection of Scott Pilgrim books, but I declined. (Gave the old cfw aqua 3ds to my nephew a year later).
Anyways, I look forward to sharing the forums with you!

As for dolphin, I’m using it and I love it, but I’m tired as fuck from using an Xbox controller as a gc controller and I’m tired of not being able to play motion plus games
