MM-LINX - Super Mario Maker 2 Level Injector

nstall the MM-LINX homebrew application on your switch, to install levels uploaded to https://tinfoil.io/MarioMaker/ directly to your Super Mario Maker 2 Level slots!

Very early release, please be patient and it will get better with time as all of my applications do :) Feel free to post feature requests and bug reports.

This is currently hard coded to use the first user profile. Please ensure that Super Mario Maker 2 is not running, and that you have at least one SMM2 save on the first user's profile.

For maximum compatibility and stability, we recommend that you use ReiNX or SX.

edit: 1.01 fixed sorting, press + to sort
edit: 1.02 added support for uploading your levels to tinfoil.io from MM-LINX
edit: 1.03 added file browser for installing levels from (sd, ftp, http, gdrive, usb, etc), search, ability to change user, translation (needs work), ability to copy files to and from smm2's save directly, themes, other stuff I probably forgot.
edit: 1.04 saving / loading is now much faster and does not overwrite your save progress; added columns for difficulty, rating, and course id; ability to unlock hammer and super flower on supported cfw's.
edit: 1.05 increased security, mandatory update. Cloud servers will no longer work with previous versions (downloads section will be empty).

He's doing more than you, where are your contributions to the switch scene? Or do you just love to bitch about things?

I haven't used this in about a month or two, whenever it was launched, and was kinda disappointed that you could only load one level at a time, but I figured "hey it's better than nothing".

I haven't used my switch since then and just updated everything (firmware, CFW, homebrew, etc...) and was delighted to find that not only does it now work perfectly on Kosmos, but now you can download tons of levels and have them all available in the game! Awesome! Much appreciated :)

Hi All,
I have a frustrated data corruption with MM-Linx 4.1.
Every time I start MM2, I need to acknowledge 180 times the error messages !!!
I tried to delete all levels with MM-Linx and create just one new level with MM2 on the slot 0/1 but still the same failure with 180 error messages !!! :-(((
Please help !

So I have been looking around for HOURS on how to fix this problem.... I just installed MM-LINX and I had a bunch of issues at first where it was saying that my installation of tinfoil was corrupt.

Eventually I got all that fixed by reinstalling tinfoil and mmlinx.

My issue NOW, is that.. whenever I press A to download a level on MM-LINX, it says this....

"Failed to open write file save:/course_thumb_000.tmp"
"Failed to download level"
"failed to install level"

So after getting this error a bunch of times , I went down to the console tab of MM-LINX, and I noticed that when I launch MM-LINX the conole instantly shows this...

"heap size" 3324mb"
"Failed to open options.json for reading!"
"Welcome to MM-Linx"
"Failed to mount save data for 01009B90006DC000"


Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I have reinstalled the game and I have started a NEW save file on the game... and I have reinstalled MM-Linx AND Tinfoil...

Does your switch have network connectivity? Failed to download level is usually network related.

Interesting — is there a problem with the new 2.0.0 update?.. Some more obstacles, encryption and etc by Nin? Or just a lack of interest / time lvl-dumpers?

I have the very same error. I'm on 9.0.1, Atmosphere 0.94.
I've installed tinfoil and MMLinx several times with no luck. Both in the last version.
Everytime i try to open mmlinx i've got the error message saying that my tinfoil is corrupted.

If i ignore the error, I can navigate through the levels but if i try to install, it gives me the error "Failed to download level" "failed to install level".
Even if i try to install lod levels from the SD, it gives me the same error.
