i don't understand why so much people got trouble with sx os 2.9 beta. Nearly all games works, fine. I booted the orig. Firmware from the SX OS Boot Menu before that i updated SX OS to 2.9 beta. After i am in the orig. Firmware i updated my switch via settings menu. After a reboot i was on 9.0.0 then i shutdown my switch and booted into SX OS 2.9 my Games works fine. I have only trouble with the homebrew, if i choose anything in the homebrew tab it starts like before, but the controller doesn't work. Thats the only issue i have.

Yeah if you do like this everything is fine, not all people like you prefet to burn 11 Fuses inside and kill possibility to downgrade your firmware in future less then 9.0

My Sysnand is on 2.2, I'm pretty sure fuses are burned. After this SXOS debacle, I still get a blackscreen when trying to launch Atmosphere. Am I screwed? Do I simply just need to update my Sysnand to 9.0 orrrr?

if you don't wanna burn any fuse you can stay on an old firmware and all new games aren't working, that isn't a good idea. If most games and homebrew works fine i see no reason to stay on an old one. As soon as CFW is supported via update everything is okay.

So I updated SX OS stupidly. This means that if I downgrade my SYSNAND to my backup (4.1.0) I can't use any carts on that version, but I can still make an EMUNAND and update that to 9.0.0 and carts will work, right?

Thank you for providing detailed and objective support on this. I am relieved I was out of town at the time of this update, as I likely would have updated to 9.0, and due to the time it takes to backup things I've been pretttty lazy about it. :P Dodged a bullet there. I am glad they got it resolved fairly quickly but, yikes, how do ya miss that one? XD Oh well. I'll give it a little while more before updating anyways since there's just no need. :)
