I installed CFW (atmosphere) on my non-patched Switch to dump my Pokemon LGP save file, so that I could add Pokemon to it on my PC. That's all. No piracy, no emulators, nothing. All on air plane mode with "send error logs" disabled.

That's all I wanted to use CFW for. Now I want to get rid of it. I don't have a Nand BackUp as I learned about it after installing cfw.

Can I just clean my SD Card off of anything CFW related and go back online? If not, what can I do to be sure?

In my experience, loading atmosphere offline and using checkpoint to backup/restore saves doesn't cause bans. I have done this numerous times and it's been over 6 months with no ban.

You are likely to get banned if you don't restore a backup from before cfw install and I don't think there's anything you can do to clean your system

Just don't use modded saves for online and you'll fine. Been using modded saves and also other people saves for sp games only since last year, so far so good not been banned yet.

you cant get rid but deleting everything from SD should be enough.
nintendo could detect it but not with current logs you giving them.
Atmosphere has a "antiban" but it just tries to makes Logs more legit.
so please dont install nsp with hopes that "antiban" saves you...

There is no such thing as antiban, if someone goes online with a cfw switch that doesn't communication with Nintendo server good chance they would get a ban. Incognito and 90DNS ain't anti ban method, they are just way to block communications.

yea its just a measure to ensure that CFW by itself doesnt ban

If the logs doesn't match the last time a person been online obviously they would get ban, a custom crash module won't save people from getting ban.

well not one method.
they do much stuff to prevent banning by its CFW itself.

Wrong as SciresM doesn't even support warez, that why he doesn't even include sig patches. It was consideration to implement incognito into Atmosphere. Only SX OS has a built in stealth mode, ReiNX and Atmosphere doesn't come with one by default.

In your original post you mentioned atmosphere has an anti ban , that is completely wrong. Incognito is a seperate program not implemented into atmosphere, atmosphere actually have block cal0 writing, that you have to use a seperate module just to allow you to use incognito on Atmosphere. Anyway it been proven multiple times you have no idea what you talking about.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
