I have tried using hactool and a few other tools, but all I can get is four NCA files and XML file. How can I extract the ROMfs? I see a lot of mentions that there should be a tic file, but whatever I do there isn't a tic file.
There should be a tik file if it was a legit nsp. If it was an xci or a nsp converted from xci (or an otherwise customised ticketless nsp) then there won't be a tik file.
hactool -k <your keys file> -x -t nca --romfsdir=romfsdir <the biggest nca file.nca>
Should extract the romfs. If you did have a tik and therefore a titlekey, you would add --titlekey=<titlekey> before the nca filename.
Yeah it sounds like your keys file isn't right. Run kezplez from the gbatemp thread, or google switch keys pastebin and look for the latest version.Yeah its a xci file, sorry I probably should have mentioned that. However, I now get this message.

What does that mean? I am not even sure if I got the keys correct, or how to even format them in the text file.

kezplez needs the Switch. All those files from google should work for this, but just get the one with the most recent date you can see.Does kezplez work without the Switch? I don't have homebrew on it. How do you know which pastebin file, Googling it gives me a ton of different results?
Thank you. I have managed to get the files extracted, I just have to figure out how to open them now.The spacing shouldn't matter, try them and see if they work.
