Just asking, anyone on the hacking scene, if it would be possible to clone starlink accessories? By the looks of the videos I've seen, you only need to connect the accessory once to unlock it. Each accessory uses some sort of connector pcb (sorry don't own it yet). Wondering if there was a way with an arduino or otherwise to spoof an accessory/ship or character by finding out what is on the currently released accessory chips and if they are protected in anyway.

It would be interesting if they have baked-in content that is locked behind a unreleased toy. And find the unlock codes for every toy/char/ship

What do you guys think?

This was easily done because the digital version of the game uses standard DLC like any other eshop game. No need to mess about with emulating accessories and the like.

I was thinking of a non-jailbreak/hacked console way. I've heard on the net that you can temporary add the codes for 1 week using the physical toys .I'm assuming you can spoof the codes used by the accessories. Would be qn interesting project for someone with electronics knowledge

Don't think there is a market for that. I mean as far as I can see the toys work without nfc. They use a physical connection and have resistors or small chips inside. so maybe you could fake it buy emulating it fia smartphone and a special cable.

Anyways.

Dies someone know how I put 2 or more weapons on top of each other in game with out the toys?

Why would anyone buy the physical copy where they have to buy all those Toys when you can just buy the digital Version, have everything Unlocked AND having to pay less than the retail Boxed version?
And even with the unlocking tool: I thought you would still need to use those toys to select the loadout of your ship (in the physical release at least) - correct me if i am wrong.
Am I missing something? Is there any valid reason to buy the physical Version over the digital one?

The only things I could think of is...
- You have Children that liked the previous Toy 2 Life games
- Physical Version is a good Birthday present
- That Arwing. To be honest: I thought about buying the physical version JUST for the Arwing, but the game seems to be very repetitive, so i passed on it

Arwing yes
I try as much as possible to buy physical copies of games as eshops die eventually and getting my hands on a console replacement when i have the game carts is way easier than redownloading a game from a dead system.

There wasn't really any practical reasoning behind my thought just a sense of adventure. Albeit a lame one .
