Yeah not gonna click on a random link there fella
That link seems broken, but whenever you see a goo.gl/foobar link, you can just stick "info/" in the URL to see the real URL.
E.g. https://goo.gl/info/TQRfAw
Hope that helps!

As long as you play backups online on the same console where you made them it shouldn't be a problem. But playing them on other consoles will cause an immediate ban.
Well wouldn't it be possible to change the console Id(an invalid one) with cfw so that the original ID remains protected against bans? I know the original one is hard-coded but maybe redirect it
if i use fortnite as a donor title to play a layeredfs game but now I boot into horizon to play fortnite online would i get banned
Since when it's pirating to play your own self-made backups? But playing pirated games means instaban, unless you offline only, even then not much is being said about playing pirated offline and legit online on the same system, might keep my eyes peeled for a banned switch purely for pirated games.
Why not? It's just $20. Less if you buy it with a group of people. Plus you get a lot of NES games with added multiplayer. For the price I don't get why it is considered that shitty. If they charged what Sony/Microsoft was charging that would be one thing, but it can cost as little as $5 for the year if you bought it as a group of 7.
The only reason I might not get it is because I may get banned before lol. If I pay $20 or less and they ban me I won't cry it is just $20. I will get over it.
I guess Nintendo got sick of Freeshop and WiiUSBHelper, you can't really blame them tbh.
I'm not talking about self made backups I'm talking about the scene dumps, I understand self made backups should be fine, but if I was to load say Skyrim which I don't own for the switch, I think buying it a 4th time is a joke no matter how good it is abd played that offline.Since when it's pirating to play your own self-made backups?
You realize this info does NOTHING to stop save editing.... right? This doesn't really help Spla2n's situation at all.Good. Keep the hackers and weapon modders out of my Splatoon 2.
Now this one kinda shows a flaw in Nintendo's system. What if someone cheats the cart version of Splatoon 2 or something, and gets a console ban from it? Then they sell the game at a store or online. GG whoever buys that cart. Seems like a bad plan, tbh. Also if you go online with a cart that has a banned cert you are going to get banned yourself.

Imagine the Nintendo board meeting after finding out about WiiUSBHelper... "Hold on.. slow down... can you please repeat that? They can get ALL of our games, for free, from where?? OUR OWN SUPER-FAST SERVERS?!?" Not surprised they went supercop this time around. Major mistake was using Nvidia off-the-shelf tablet parts, so next console will only be designed by 4 guys who have promised to jump into the Hawaiian volcanoes when they are done designing it...
Why are you always so damn hostile when I see your messages? I don't cheat online, EVER. Doesn't stop other people from doing it...Or don't be like any other inconsiderate punk who cheats online?

But we don't know if the game card will be blacklisted as well. Maybe only the console of the cheater will be banned.ow this one kinda shows a flaw in Nintendo's system. Maybe consider how you phrase things, and timing, then. ...because it sure as fuck sounded like that's what you were saying. Either way, your answer is silly. You can't just put your hands together and wish real hard that people will have morals. Not how the world works.I didn't accuse you of cheating online I'm just saying people who cheat online always ruin it for other people, is that so hard to see why I can't stand those people?
Not according to the snippet I quoted...But we don't know if the game card will be blacklisted as well. Maybe only the console of the cheater will be banned.

Yea, we all know how those calls with Nintendo support go. If you are wrongfully banned by a shared game cert, resold to you, Nintendo won't help. I'd be willing to bet money on it.As long as the cart wasn't dumped or something I imagine the cart cert would be fine. And they would just get a console ban. But yes if the cert itself is banned it's likely you could get banned as well and have to take it up with the seller and Nintendo themselves and prove your innocence.
My god, you're every bit as edgy as your MS Paint profile picture would suggest.... You do realize I agree with every point you're making, right? I hate cheaters... I'm just saying we need a real solution, and this PSA has NOTHING to do with said solution.Well excuse me for not having eloquent writing skills. Just because people can and will cheat, doesn't make it any less of a douche move, it almost always ruins the experience for other people, does it not? Anyone who's willing to go out of their way to give themselves an unfair advantage (unlimited weapons/health/etc) via cheating deserve to get permabanned from ever playing on that console online.
Add me to your damn ignore list already, would that make you happy?

If you think about it, its pure marketing genius. They stop people from sharing game certs and pirating their IP, and at the same time discourage used game sales, further boosting their own. Somebody needs a raise, lol.Tbh though it's more of our problem than it is theirs. I don't agree with wrongfully banning people but I'm not surprised that Nintendo would take such messures after years of abuse. We will just have to be really careful with used games.
Short version is: don't go online with pirated games. Keep pirated games on an emuNAND that is offline 24-7, and your legit stuff on sysNAND, so you can go online.I can only pretend to understand part of this writeup, I certainly I appreciate it. I am wondering, given this information is it risky to use the current EXFat driver method, since it requires the use of a copied XCI? Does this write-up confirm the ban risk of doing so?
