Hacking Wii VC games giving black screen

PAL Wii, haven't used it in a bit so I may have installed these incorrectly, I installed a bunch of PAL Wii VC games with the WAD function on the multi-tool program with IOS 249 (I also tried 250, same result), two aren't working, both by the same scene group (Sunshine), Sonic and Knuckles and Bomberman 94.

What IOS should I be trying to get these to work?

the IOS you use to install is just the IOS it uses for NAND access (for installing titles).
You need to open them in ShowMiiWADs or similar, it'll tell you what IOS they're using, and get the latest stock for that IOS.

Oh I see, It needed IOS53 and I hadn't actually installed that, the game runs fine now, thanks.
