Themes don't work propely...why?

delete your "assets" folder, then take the "assets" folder from 1.4.0 Stable, and add it to the current version. Lots of needless files I mean thousands of useless pictures files in the standalone packs, so whatever emulator you choose try that (delete all the theme folders you don't want in the XMB folder, for example I only have "retroactive" and "NPMApng2PMApng.py" in mines)

Would you recommend that I update to the latest 1.6.0 instead of using separate cores? I use snes9x2005 and quicknes 1.3.6 separate cores without issues really. Also, I've yet to find a 100% stutter-free GBA core. And pcsx is still quite buggy, right? I've been using henkaku offline for a good while but I installed it using wifi a few days ago and started getting the C-12828-2 error and all the cores started crashing. That's why I decided to rebuild database and try to set it all up again. Then I read a henkaku update was out and it seems to be working fine again but I've yet to turn to retroarch 1.6.0. IS there a stutter free gba emulator? NES, SNES, GB, GBC have all been fine for ages.

No. People talk about gpsp running perfectly on Adrenaline. VBA on RetroArch works fine, great in some games, kind of stutter on others. Go try yourself.

And yes, update right now. Faster loading times, an improved menu, and a lot of small things.

I installed the new 1.6.0 retroarch.vpk in the archive but when I go to download cores from the menu the screen goes dark for a split second. Nothing happens.

Cuz you can't. That's why we download the all in one, then erase the cores we don't use in Vitashell.
Lol dunno why you want to download cores if you installed the All-in-One. It allready has all the cores you need to play.

OH. So I just have to pick a rom I want to play then..and then I'm given the option to pick the core I want? I'm tabbed out of FIFA as I'm typing this. Will have to check it afterwards.

Load Core -> select the core you need, then Load Content and select your game.

That's what I was trying to do. No core was listed. It says No items and "Download Core" and if I try that the screen just flickers black once.

You have also tried to Load Content (without core) to see if the app make you to chose the core after?

I googled it and tried to delete the entire retroarch folder and reinstalling the package and it works now. I can't see any of the cores in any folders though.

hi guys i made some improvements on my playlist creator.

-generating playlist its now much faster (i tested with 289 roms before 120sec and now 8sec)
-add some automation if you connect vita via usb vitashell
-Now finds the .nes, .gb, .smc, .lnx, .mgw, .gba, .vec, .mgw attachment and pre-fills the lpl file and kernel name
-when you select lpl file name then you see only kernels for it

Has anyone tried 1.6.0 on PSTV ? Previous builds and/or nightlies were giving me hassle. I'd LOVE the PSVita experience on my PSTV via DS4 !!!:yayps3::yayps3:
