DS Homebrew - OMalone 2.0a

Now with Wi-Fi

Alx06 tells me of a new version of his impressive DS homebrew - OMalone. Here's what he says:

"OMalone, the NDS homebrew version of the board game Abalone is back with a new version (2.0a). This time with Wi-Fi support.
So now you can play against any one, any time. A real time ladder is also now available to follow your progression."

He's also going to organise and hold a tournament here at GBAtemp, so if you're interested in competing, please put your name down in this topic.

OMalone is an impressive homebrew and Alx06 has put a lot of work into it, so why not check it out for yourself.

I've tried it a couple times as well as the online wi-fi matches. The game is nothing short of a homebrew gem, you'll be glad you gave it a try. Be sure to visit the site though, there are different versions of the download for different carts (I had trouble at first because I added the wrong version to my SCL).

Hi all,

I've contacted the author of wfcstatus to ask him if he can add omalone in the supported games.
I hope he could do that easily. It would help the game a lot.
Thanks for the info, as I didn't know this software before !

PiNa, it seems to work on SCLR, just use the .nds file.

Kamakzie, thanks for the info, I'll write it on the website.

to all : no, you're not too bad to participe to the tournament, just try !
;-)

Small question, does it need a .sav file to save to? And if yes, do I have to save using QPC on Supercard?

EDIT: Found a bug, you can battle Vector before you unlock him by just clicking him on the touchscreen.
