Mine was normal purple with Sonic advance, my first Sonic game.
Still remember, all the good times with all the games that I've played... :shy:
Sometimes, I wonder where my gba has gone to (I sold it for the ds).

Ugh I can't remember if I had the White version or a Plain Purple one.. I do remember it was a beast in the day though, I clocked so many hours on Golden Sun when I first got it :P

My interest in the physical console died after Pokemon Sapphire game out sadly, probably because I learnt of emulators and thought it was so much cooler :). Weird how it's all about playing roms on the physical consoles again these days

I got mine as a present from my Japanese grandmother, it was a green gba sp. She bought me some Japanese game sort of like tetris or something, It was okay. And a year later I got a gameboy advance that's see-through purple from my uncle that came with kirby's dreamland. I honestly loved it to death, played it so much I could beat DeDeDe with the parasol. If you ask why I didn't play kirby on the gba sp it was because I left the charger at Japan and the one at EB games snapped because kitty likes cords. This was when I was 6 or something. Maybe 5.

Speaking of roms, I played emulators TONS last year.

My first GBA was the Nintendo Gamecube's Game Boy Player. I remember the only way I could play Pokemon Ruby was on the TV with the Game Boy Player, lol good times. I was 8 at the time.

Then in Christmas 2004 I finally got an actual GBA, though it was an SP. It was blue, and I liked it. I was happy that I could finally play Pokemon Ruby on a handheld, and thinking it was pretty cool that I could continue on from my save file from playing on the Gamecube. The next GBA game I got was the Sonic Advance + Pinball Party combo pack, it was either that or Pokemon LeafGreen. Then sometime later I got Pokemon Emerald (obviously I'm a Pokemon fan XD), and I got Sonic Advance 2 and Sonic Battle(this game sucks) from a friend.

I recently started using it again because I realized I never truly got to experience the GBA's library, and I can't stand playing GBA games on my DS lite with AceKard + EZFlash 3in1, because the border around the screen when playing GBA games annoys the crap out of me. So I physically modified my 3in1 cart to fit inside of my GBA and be able to take it out easily, and I flashed the Mother 1+2 translation to NOR, so I've been playing Mother 1 on my GBA SP. Though I just got an EZFlash IV, so I'm going to re-modify my 3in1 back to it's original size, and I'll put all my GBA games on there. I also just ordered a new GBA SP, but the AGS-101 model with the backlit screen.

Aw man, this brings me back! :D

I bought a used translucent blue/purple original GBA ("glacier", i think that particular color was called?) and a used copy of Super Mario Advance 2. I remember my brother and I had a huge yard sale to raise the money for it, and we had saved just barely enough. We felt so proud of ourselves! :yaysp:

What was the color and game/s that you had? Mine was a clear purple GBA with Super Mario Advance
This.
I still remember how I accidently dropped that damn thing in the stairway from the 4th floor right down to the basement. Poor fella fell down right on the "face", yet nothing happened. Wouldn't dare to even try it with a GBA SP :/
Shit was tough as steel.
