Let the custom-hacking begin!

Or lets have someone port Ultrastar Deluxe to wii and we'd have 10s of thousands of songs pre-made.

Anyhow, i just played it and i liked it a lot, however, the sound pickup is weird and starts later then its supposed to. Maybe its because i am using a NTSC system and using NTSC signal. U-Sing didnt do that to me tho, same settings. I really like the track list on this also, Would I Lie To You Baby is great and it even has a 4-player Pass the Mic mode, great for parties.

theres a homebrew that plays ultrastar songs I believe
Karaokii - plays ogg music files and displays the accompaning lyrics using ultrastar (and similar) txt files. However Devkit doesn't currently support microphones so there's no voice input in the game.

Here's a strange one.......

Just noticed that U-SING (wii) came out about a week ago and this WE SING (wii) was released the other day.

Does anyone know the difference between U-sing and We-Sing? Are they the same game???

A company called 'Nordic Games' released 'Wii Sing' & another company called 'Mindscape' has released 'U-Sing'

After looking at trailers for both on u-tube, they seem to have different game menu's and different advertising? They also have their own separate packaging as i found by searching for 'sing' on zavvi's website! The playlist seems similar too?

Whats going on? Are they the same game with different distributors? regionalised versions of the same game?

Does anyone have both and be willing to test and see if there is any difference between the two games?

Thanks!

they are different games by different companies, but both cheap karaoke discs and some of the songs cross over.

I hope video + mic comes to this homebrew, that would be fantastic.

Get a USB hard drive + Configurable USB Loader. Highest compatability of any method.
