I have the beta patch translation on PPF format, but... i want to play on my original MHG, so i don't know apply the beta patch on my original game, dude.

Guys, do you happen to know which is the most up-to-date patch for this Monster Hunter G Wii game?
I think I have it. In 2012 I fan translated the fan translation patch. It is a "main.dol" file that originally had some pretty sad translations. Some items were misnamed and classic phrases like "It's like noting" kinda let me down. So I took wiiscrubber, madedit (hex editor) and google translate into my own hands. I added descriptions for items, weapons and armor (not including the final online boss items or online items), translated the quest descriptions, translated the warrior's school training missions and some additional in game menus. I also took a stab at the wisdom from the elder (early game tutorial advice) and the Yam Elder's advice. Some parts of the Japanese text are unstable (Elder Wisdom, Yam Elder) so they are only sparsely translated with a few words to give the general idea. I've never posted it and frankly don't know how/want to. But I'd be more than happy to help you. I'm pretty message base illiterate so pm me or something. (is that even possible?) I also have a gecko for invincibility that i found on "the Japanese internet", if anyone wants it. (is there a better place to post that?)
I'm actually looking for advice on translation hacking because not all of the text appears in the main.idx file (villagers, in quest quest descriptions). I think there may be compressed/encrypted portions of text or something and I don't know much about that. I found some resources, but I think I just need to seek more experienced game translators for advice.

I translated a little of monster hunter g and fix some mistakes of sasukedice translation, but it lefts a lot to translate, I couldn't find a lot of text of menu, quests, options but at least the game has less in japanese
So how do it get my improved translation patch to the masses without getting banned?

I translated it. Well, as much offline content as I could find in the Main.dol file of the game. I doubt I can post it here or any links to it (if i had the courage to put on Mega). There is some text i can't find. I think it is compressed or encrypted; maybe in the main.dol or probably in some other files. I guess there are some tools that will decrypt the files ( http://forum.wiibrew.org/read.php?21,5477,5610 and http://www.amnoid.de/gc/ ) but I'd rather just get some tips from folx who have more experience.
I've also taken a look at translating Ougon_no_Kizuna, but my first attempt to translate the opening movie failed horribly, and the mission translation has so far been limited to the mission titles only (and those are mostly guesses). Translating Japanese characters is tricky due to the different spacing. You have to stay within the character limits and sometimes even then, the translations lead to game freezes. It might be nice to translate Monotone Princess as well. But first, it would be nice to finish MHG. I'd be so happy if i could get the people in the village to speak English!
Ok, I dug up my old work files from the old HD. It looks like I left a menu title untranslated. I know because it has my "key" displayed when I load the game. It'll take me a little time to correct and review for any other keys. For the most part though, this is as far as I could get. I think this will open the door to translations into other Latin based languages, so I guess I should start a new thread. stay tuned.
ok, sorry i took so long. Here is a link to the gecko codes I found for MHG. I got creative and discovered that the internet it much much bigger than we normally experience.
