Yea, i have NO idea what to look for to narrow down my searching. I don't remember the story or game at all, so i'm pretty much SOL on this one heh. I did a bunch of searches to see what i can find, and i have turned up nothing. 2 and 3 were a piece of cake for me however, but that's not going to help get me in the running
So, good luck to those that have found Answer 1!

So was I. I remembered the general story, searched for it with no more information than is already contained in the question, and found the answer on the first page. That was a decently hard quiz. Kudos you wonderful temp mods.
1. I had read this story a long time ago, but didn't remember the game. Took like a million different searches before I found it. Especially because Google seemed to think I was really looking for the story from yesterday about the woman who complained about her son's DS game.
2. Didn't know the answer to this (also never bothered to mod my GBA, although not sure I would have known the answer if I had) but was really amused when I found it out. Kind of a "What, really?" reaction
3. Hope I got this right because I just got confused when I tried to confirm it in a couple places. Also kind of funny though, since I never would have guessed (assuming I got it right).
So yeah, excellent job with the questions. That was fun. Frustrating, but still pretty amusing and a good way to kill some time

Wish the best of luck to all. It took me forever to find the answer to number 1 and when i did i smacked myself in the face.
OK, a little bit of detective work and I found the answer to all three questions on the net to confirm my guesses. For #3, I wasn't wrong so I was 3 for 3.

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't. -
