For the people who are sad that this hasn't come out yet. Go check out Opticraft: Heritage Edition for 3DS. It's a C++ reimplementation of Java 1.2.5 and runs at mostly solid 30 fps on old 3DS.

Did you add the assets to the "opticraft" folder on the root of your sd?
