This is kind of a late update but I figured that it was worth sharing that NUSGet is now properly signed on all platforms, so hopefully this means no more false-positive malware detections going forward! I've been a paying Apple Developer Program member for a bit now (for better or for worse) so I've been able to sign the macOS version, but as of July 31st I'm also now distributing signed Windows builds of NUSGet as well thanks to a free signing certificate provided by the SignPath Foundation. To my knowledge Defender now recognizes it as safe and hopefully won't give people problems anymore. Hopefully.
Quick Changelog Speedrun since v1.4.0: (I imagine a lot of people have already seen all of this but for anyone who only follows on GBATemp this might be worthwhile.)
There's now a fancy progress bar showing download progress (Wii/vWii titles only).
The language and light/dark theme can now be set manually instead of defaulting to your system language and system color scheme.
There's now a little folder button next to the download button that opens NUSGet's current download folder, whether that's the default or a custom one that you've set.
Script downloads will respect your custom download folder.
There's a timeout on downloads now so the app won't hang forever if your internet drops out mid-download.
Your searches will now be preserved when switching tabs instead of resetting.
macOS notarization.
Windows notarization.
Nothing particularly thrilling, but I figured it was worth the update anyway. Enjoy!
(Also, if you're still running into anti-virus issues despite NUSGet being signed, please let me know so I can investigate.)
