okay, I'll try to make this my last question today. I was wondering if there was a way to extract only certain codes since I haven't unlocked all my royal tools, and I'm only to now getting to the elixirs. Oh and how would i go about doing it, I'm not super tech savy, so a detailed explanation if you have the time would be very appreciated.

All the important information about the GetAll codes, including how to use them and the cases where unlocking things too early can cause problems, is already covered on the front page, so please read that section carefully first. In your case, especially do not use GetAllTool&Accessory until you have obtained all Royal Tools normally, including the DLC tools.

Reading your replies again, I think I need to explain this from a more basic level.

You don't need to separate the cheats yourself. You download the full `.txt` cheat file, put it on your SD card, and then choose in-game which cheats you want to turn on.

Since you said your Switch has never been online, is it permanently offline, or could it connect online if you wanted? Even offline, cheats can still give you items that exist in the game, including Premium Shop, Star Path and Twitch Drop items. Some quests that normally require online access can also be worked around with cheats. What cheats cannot replace are the actual online services, so you still cannot use Preset Code sharing, participate in Star Paths, submit/vote in DreamSnaps, or access the Premium Shop itself.

I made a beginner cheat setup guide a long time ago, but it's outdated now. I'm thinking about making a new simple guide for people who have never used Switch cheats before.

(sd:/atmospshere/contents/0100D39012C1A000/cheats/BID.txt) - is this where the cheats are suppose to go? I can not put the console online since it's modded. I don't understand how to run cheats, i'm new to all of tis and was unaware this was a real possibility until today.

Yes, that is basically the correct location, but there are two important things to check.

For DDV v1.25.0, the file should be exactly here:
sd:/atmosphere/contents/0100D39012C1A000/cheats/52BD625D9B4E0053.txt

Also, you do not need to remove individual cheats from the file. Once everything is set up correctly, you can choose which cheats to enable from the overlay while the game is running.

I don't know how to show you it's in the right spot, but it absolutely is. I'm just not getting any results.

Download the ZIP, extract it, then copy everything inside to the root of your Switch SD card. If you are asked whether to merge or replace folders/files, allow the merge. Put the SD card back into your Switch and reboot into Atmosphère. Start DDV, then press ZL + ZR + D-Pad Down to open the overlay. Open EdiZon → Cheats and you should see the DDV cheat list. The v1.25.0 cheat file is already included in the correct folder.

For future DDV updates, put the matching BID `.txt` file in SD:/atmosphere/contents/0100D39012C1A000/cheats/.

has DDV been updated? my build ID is 858c4cc82e9a89df, and after reading a few reddits I'm not sure how to check the compatibility for it. Obviously the program ID is accurate, so I'm wondering if it could be my build ID.

That Build ID does appear to be a valid DDV BID, so you are checking it correctly. However, I do not have any information for `858C4CC82E9A89DF` in this thread, so that build is not currently supported by my cheat set.

DDV receives a free update roughly every 8 weeks, plus at least one paid content update per year. Each of those updates change the Build ID, which means the cheat codes need to be updated for the new build as well.

Unfortunately, I can’t provide a cheat set for your current version. To use the cheat codes posted in this thread, you need to update DDV to a version/BID that I currently support.

I keep my sysNAND clean and play DDV online from a legitimately purchased copy, so I don’t use Tinfoil and can’t really guide you on it. The latest version supported in this thread is v1.25.0. I’ve seen the v1.25.0 update NSP available from multiple places online, but GBAtemp rules don’t allow me to post the site names or direct links here. It should be easy enough to find with a normal web search. Once you update to v1.25.0, check the BID again and use the matching cheat file from this thread.

It is good to see you posting DDV codes again after such a long time. I appreciate you continuing to share your codes. I normally play online, but I already own all DLC, so I cannot properly test this code.

I had not made or published a DLC unlock code before because save editing is the more update-resistant solution for offline use, and I had not received any requests from online players.

I also made my own patch. I tested it offline after completely removing all DLC ownership information from the save, and all DLC was accessible.

Code:
[UnlockAllDLC]
040E0000 05A51254 14000011
040E0000 05A42890 1400000A

I'm old and rusty - I'm so impressed with all the new cheats. AMS CheatVM is too limiting .. :(
