As of yesterday, what appears to be a 3DS build of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has leaked online.
While I was initially skeptical of it's legitimacy, the animations, models and gameplay have displayed what appears to be an exact replica of the beginning of the game.
The build has working shrines, dialogue and other gameplay (albeit with severely diminished graphics for the 3DS). The build does not work on actual hardware but runs via emulator.

The creator of this build is unknown, and a few clues point to an internal demo created by big N themselves.
The title page Japanese text translates to "For internal playtesting purposes only. Distribution prohibited".
Additionally, the bottom screen map resembles that of the Wii U demo.
However other evidence points to homebrew tools used for development, what a mystery.

I would like this game to get more build, add everything, items, village, people, shops, monsters and bosses need to be finish soon.

I already know about this demo game was leaked. Can't wait when someone work on demo game then when finish then release full working game in near future.

When demo game turned in full version then can everyone send me news here and in private message please? I would like to know when demo changed into full version. then I will search game on internet.

Cheers B-) :yay:

Last edited by console,
I'm familiar with the guy who made the DS demake. I don't think it was him. BoTW DS was shared privately to a few people before it leaked recently and I've never heard him mention this one.
It was not Gericom, but someone else. PabloMK7 confirmed if the project is using AI and build recently using Devkitpro.

This really reminds me of the story behind the Breath of the Wild demake for the DS, nobody had any idea who had made it.

👀 Haha...

Yeah seems either the Redditor who posted this or his source for it might have lied about how long ago it was made. Starting to look like it was a AI vibe code project. :(
No clarification yet, but I'm still curious since PabloMK7 can play it on the real hardware.
