The main difference is that Tico uses the RetroArch core, while this port is based on the standalone version of Dolphin

The fact that you believe ram has anything to do with it goes to show just how ignorant you are on the subject.
Look I have run Dolphin and it was Ram hungry, maybe the thing has improved over time, I haven't updated it in a while.
