Dekopon - (Mostly) Fullspeed 3DS Emulation on Nintendo Switch

Has anyone managed to get CTGP-7 working on Dekopon? The launcher keeps asking me to install Mario Kart 7 even though the game and the v1.2 update are installed. On Azahar Android this can apparently be fixed by using “Insert Cartridge”, but I can’t find that option in Dekopon. Is there a shortcut or is this feature not implemented yet?
BTW GREAT PERFORMANCE!!!
Im on my tired V1 switch from 2017 and it runs flawless at x2 in handheld with 1326mhz cpu overclock

I believe someone has gotten it to work before, but I don't know how they did it. I personally haven't tried to get it working myself. The next update is working on getting all settings from upstream Azahar exposed and working, so I can look into getting that option working too.

Thanks! That makes sense. I'll gladly test it once the new update is available. If you need someone to verify whether CTGP-7 works after exposing the remaining Azahar settings, I'd be happy to test it bro ;)

Btw is there any chance to implement LSFG?
Wouldn't that look really bad at 30->60fps interpolation? And greater than 60 isn't possible since we're limited there by Horizon (at least I think we can't output 120 to a TV). I would also need to buy it... If there's significant demand, then maybe.

For the games that runs at 30 fps natively i think it could be a good idea, Example Pokemon, The naga version of LSFG in experience it looks good on 30 fps native ds games, but its just an idea

I'd have to see how it's implemented too, since I'm not even sure how it works. It's not a no, but don't expect it soon.

CTGP-7 works fine and actually plays better than vanilla MK7.

Make sure you have the correct update - v1.2 oh amd play MK7 first... Make a save file.

No sir, turning it off or on doesn't improve the quality.
There shouldn't be any differences between Tico and Dekopon at the same settings, so I don't understand what could be the issue. The only difference between default settings was that Tico defaults to new3DS on. I'll keep investigating to see if I find anything. Thanks for the help.

AOn the contrary, thank you very much, and I hope you can find the problem and solve it.

For example
@PalindromicBreadLoaf I've noticed that too, maybe its just me but Tico Azahar under Video settings, theres an option under "Texture" called "Texture Sampling"... I am thinking it could be that? There is 3 setting for it, Nearest Neighbor, Linear, and Game Controlled. In my eyes Game Controlled does give a better visual output. I usually like Nearest Neighbor for my retrogaming, but to me for Azahar the setting Game Controlled is best.

Game Controlled is what it defaults to already, same as Tico. All the default settings are basically identical across the two emulators sans new3DS mode.
