Developer Alexey Shevchenko, working under the alias INDIE_RU, has released a new trailer showcasing an independent, native PC port of the 2012 console horror game Silent Hill: Downpour. Working alone, the developer has successfully migrated almost all original content from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions, with only a single in-game location left to finish. Because this version runs natively rather than through emulation, it promises performance of 60+ FPS at resolutions starting at 1440p, alongside enhanced shadows, upgraded lighting, and full compatibility for keyboard, mouse, and Xbox 360 gamepads. While a definitive launch date has not been announced, the trailer concludes with a "coming soon" teaser.

Sounds good as I loved Downpour. Its been confirmed that they are making a remake of Silent Hill 1 with konami having bloober team (the team behind the SH 2 Remake) doing the dev work. Of course this is old news but while we all wait for the SH 1 remake to come theres just a suggestion from me. Bloober team also developed The Blair Witch project the new one which is actually very good.
