Okay... While this is going on, the most hilarious political race is getting underway in no other country than the uk

So... Nigel Farage resigned from... From... Uleave? Reform UK? I honestly forgot the name of his "we'd be doing brexit better if only we weren't spectator" party. So now he's running to become MP in a county I can't remember... Against none other than...

Count Binface.

Yes, that other guy in the middle of the photo on page one.

Now... Farage has been a shitstain that, from EU point of view, is an advantage to brexit in itself (not having that clown causing controversies and then complaining of their own bad work). I have no clue why people trust him with anything, let alone political votes. But ey... He resigned, and it's time for new blood. Someone with less horrible ideas on borders, EU ties,...

...

Yes, I'm rooting for someone who's face I've literally never seen. And it would be the second greatest moment of this year for me if he wins (sorry... Top spot was Belgium vs usa football). :D

Edit: not too be curious, but... What is that fox's political career going to be? :D

He resigned from his seat as MP, so that he can run for his seat as MP.
There is an active investigation into his dodgy finances right now and he wants to rerun an election for no reason, in his incredibly safe constituency, so he can say "look, The People voted for me, I have a mandate, stop investigating me".

All the major parties have recognised this is stupid and are not participating. Which means there is a non-zero chance that the anti-Reform vote could unite behind Count Binface. He has pledged to build at least one affordable house, and can identify where Clacton is on a map.

In honour of my role as a compromised political shill on this site, I fully endorse the Count and will be adopting a political profile picture of him.
