Can't get reVita's gyro remapping to work

I tried to replicate this:


However, no matter what I map gyro to, nothing happens. VitaTester shows gyro fine, so it sounds like a reVita issue to me.

I made sure to follow the plugin order as outlined in this wiki page.
 
I just ruled out other plugins being the problem. I commented out every plugin under "custom" and "game mods" except for reVita and reVitaMotion, there was no change.

reVitaMotion doesn't appear to be truncated, it's the expected file size.
