UGREEN x Honkai: Star Rail Collection Impressions
Last year, tech accessories manufacturer UGREEN partnered with HoYoverse to launch some Genshin Impact-themed products. The two companies are back with another partnership, this time on an officially licensed Honkai: Star Rail collection. In particular, it draws inspiration from the game’s Yao Guang character, an Arbiter-General who reads the signs of fate and turns adversity into fortune.
UGREEN has a Limited Collectible Gift Box that showcases this collection and includes:
- Exclusive Yao Guang-themed merchandise, including an acrylic stand, tin badge, holographic ticket and power bank pouch
While each item is sold separately, the Limited Collectible Gift Box includes the Yao Guang-themed merchandise and costs $249.99. As with the Genshin Impact collection, this one will appeal the most to Honkai: Star Rail fans, making it a niche collection. The aesthetics give the products a unique flair without compromising UGREEN’s quality. Each item is of quality and is notably pocketable, making them very versatile.
The priciest product in this lineup is the $90 UGREEN MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank Honkai: Star Rail Edition. It supports both wired and wireless charging for up to three devices simultaneously. With 10,000mAh capacity, up to 15W charging, a slim profile and an integrated cable, it is well-suited for daily, on-the-go use.
A more affordable alternative is the $60 UGREEN Nexode Pro Power Bank Honkai: Star Rail Edition. It is a bit chunkier but also has 10,000mAh capacity, an integrated cable, up to 45W charging (55W fast charging for Xiaomi devices) and a smart display.
The $50 UGREEN Nexode Air Charger Honkai: Star Rail Edition is the tiniest charger I’ve ever seen. But don’t let the size fool you as it is a 65W GaN charger. The only downside is that is only features a single USB-C port, so you can only charge one device at a time with it.
Its pocketable and travel-friendly design pairs well with the UGREEN Nexode Retractable USB-C Cable Honkai: Star Rail Edition. Costing $20, it supports 100W fast charging and has a retractable design to reduce clutter and tangle when not in use.
The final item in the collection is the $22 UGREEN FineTrack Mini 2 Honkai: Star Rail Edition. This is among UGREEN’s latest products, and the company recently launched the non-themed model for $33 for a pack of 4. It is compatible with Apple Find My for real-time location tracking. While it cannot be charged, its battery lasts up to 7 years and delivers up to 2,700 finds. It sports a loud 110dB alert, includes high-visibility fluorescent accents, and doesn’t need an extra app or account. However, it is iOS only, and I hope UGREEN releases an Android-compatible model soon.
The UGREEN x Honkai: Star Rail Limited Collectible Gift Box is now available in the United States on Amazon, the UGREEN Official Store, and TikTok Shop. UGREEN will also partner with Honkai: Star Rail at Anime Expo (AX) from July 2 to 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC), and all co-branded products will be displayed and sold at the official Honkai: Star Rail merchandise booth.
Unless you’re a Yao Guang or Honkai: Star Rail diehard fan, you don’t need these branded products and can turn to the (slightly cheaper) non-branded variant instead. That said, a launch discount applies to the products, and they are all of high quality and provide handy tech features. The gift box has the added bonus of including some handy extras, my favourite being the pouch that holds all of the accessories included in the box.
