A while ago i noticed someone made decomps for Black ops 1 and Cod 4 and i remember a exchange between Author for decomp saying a switch port is possible if enough work is done.

I would like to put initial bounty of 10 dollars per title, just to get ball rolling, or discussion on possibility.
Given theyre 360 era titles id imagine it is possible if enough work is done.

yeah that ain’t happening anytime soon pal lol. Even n64 games take a shit ton of work.
its why ive been sitting on it, its not likely and are demanding, but not impossible.

Also i think its x86 so would need to be ported to arm for better performance.

One of the major problems I foresee are just the libraries needed in general.

We do have a Switch version of vpx.dll, but I'm confident about binkw32.dll requiring a stupid amount of work, since it's a proprietary (closed-source) library.

I'm unsure about libraries tier0_s.dll, vpx,dll and vstdlib_s.dll, but they seem to be made by Valve?

Woah calm down with the bounty reward Mr.Moneybags!
Wish i could offer more but foods expensive 😭
Main purpose is to get attention and maybe someone offers complementary bounty.
Also gives room to add more to bounty in future because got to be realistic with my income.

ffmpeg supports bink files, so it's "just" a matter of replacing internal library with a wrapper around ffmpeg decoder.
