Tested and working...

It misses the line game.languaje in the settings... Just add it and works.

As I understand no texture replacement are allowed, isn't it? I've always put the switch buttons layout.

Where did you get the switch buttons layout ?

Honestly wondering is this is as best as it's gonna get for the Switch port. Wouldn't want to commit to the current version and have my save deleted or something.

Hi, @josete2k:

How did you add a specific language to the config file? What does it look like? Like this maybe?

"game.language": French,

Thank you.

This version appears to have an issue with the framerate, lowering the resolution increases the framerate, which makes the game run way faster than it should, it ignores the framerate settings and always runs between 30 and 45 fps.
It’s vibe coded. I‘m patiently waiting for courage reborn (another Twilight princess port) which will have an actual fully supported Switch port

Did you find a way to make it run slower? I am trying this version now and it feels like fast forward is on. Even locking at 30fps doesn't work like you said. It runs 30-60 fps a lot of the time. Maybe the GCN version just runs faster? I was playing it on Wii U last month and it wasn't so fast like this.

givethesourceplox's version runs at the correct speed, but in some areas like Hyrule Castle courtyard and Link's house you will experience frame drops if your resolution is set to 1080p.

Thanks, I will try that version. I was using (https://github.com/HayatoG/dusklight/releases/tag/switch-v1.4.3-20260702) which also seems to run great but experiencing issues where it runs too fast that sound similar to another user above. Problem is I am such a boomer now that I second guess myself and just think the games were always fast and I just didn't notice at the time. I would say the version I played is still playable though fast, especially if lowering resolution.
