After much speculation and rumour, the fabled Nintendo Direct is upon us. Set to go live tomorrow, the 9th of June, at 3pm in the UK, it'll feature 50 minutes of games launching this year for the Switch and Switch 2. Those wanting to bookmark the livestream ahead of time can find it linked below.

Direct was....5/10 for me. There wasn't enough of Nintendo's own games there for me. New Mario, "New" Zelda, Smash Bros, Mario Kart DLC? Anything would have been good.

That. was the most bullshit, bootycheeks, piss, uglyass hoe of a direct EVER

It was one of the best directs for me.
Plenty of stuff I was interested in. My wallet was crying as more games were announced.

Glad Nintendo learn the mistake of Gamecube and Wii U. There is no game reveal with date later than 2027 and the biggest reveal is for this year. If it was old Nintendo they would have reveal OOT last year at launch lol.

They also would've made this an indie direct, because that's what it is really

Yeah I bet you were excited over the "Awesome games" announced like Hello Kitty and Nintendo Switch Sports Resorts

Pokopia expansion, Stellar Blade (which I'll buy again), Lies of P (I'll also buy it again), Tales of Eternia, One Piece Grand Gourmet (kairosoft games are fun, did not expect an OP one), Muramasa, Xenoblade upgrades, new Xenoblade (although I'm a bit skeptical of this one so far since it doesn't seem to have sci-fi), KH 1, 2, 3, 4, Zelda Ocarina of Time and a few others I forgot to mention.

HALF OF THEM ARE THE SAME GAMES LIKE YOU SAID, WHY WOULD YOU BUY THEM AGAIN FOR THE INFLATED PRICE???

AND THE OTHER HALF ARE PRICEY DLC BECAUSE THE GAMES THEMSELVES WERE INCOMPLETE FROM THE S-T-A-R-T

The guy you replying to probably wipe his own ass with $100 bills, so that wouldn't make a difference for him.

I will buy them again because I can and because I prefer handheld games.
The Xenoblade games were not incomplete and 5€ isn't expensive as for Pokopia, I put hundreds of hours into that game, paying for a DLC given the time I put into it already (not to mention that it will also have a free update).

I'm happy with this, if you don't like it, that's your problem (btw, I didn't see the creepy train in the direct, wasn't it going to be there as well?)

That's stupid, my salary isn't that high, around 1000€ net, I simply manage my money. I set aside around 200€ (sometimes more, sometimes less) for games and other hobbies, if I don't use that money, I simply add to it. I don't have any vices so I don't money on them (some of my coworkers spend way over 200€ on tobacco on a monthly basis).

Yeah, no. I get most of my games for 60€ or less due to pre-order discounts (if it's a game I want), otherwise I just wait for it to get on sale. Got several Switch 2 games this month for 20€.
