What do you want to see in the next Nintendo Direct?

With rumours circulating about a Nintendo Direct in the coming days and weeks, fans are left speculating and hoping as to what might be included. At the centre of all of this is the fabled remake of Ocarina of Time, but there are also plenty other games that have previously been announced that we haven't heard much about. Games like Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, Pokemon Winds and Waves, and The Duskbloods.

For those of you who already have a Switch 2, what games are you chomping at the bit to know more about? And for those who don't, what games would tip the scales to make you want to pick up the system? Let us know your thoughts below!

My brother in gaming, Nintendo only remakes or remasters the same game twice if it's a staple, OoT is not a staple, it is however a masterpiece.
If I recall correctly, Twilight Princess outsold Ocarina of Time, and that has seen 4 releases:
- GCN
- Wii
- NVIDIA
- WiiU

Ocarina of time has only seen even more officially:
- N64
- iQUE
- Gamecube/Wii (Collector's Edition + Virtual Console)
- 3DS
- Nintendo Switch Online
- PROBABLE SWITCH HD REMASTER

So no... if Nintendo is farming TP which outsold OoT back in the day... what do you think Nintendo is going to lose by literally remastering the best Zelda game ever for Nintendo Switch 2 with 4K capabilities? (according to critics...)

Want to see?

Actually a 3D Yoshi game.
A very big 64GB cart Mario game. With the Mario games Easter eggs, a different story line, where Luigi gets kidnapped, Peach almost, but you need to play as Peach in some cases, also levels where you need Peach to help Mario to progress further into a level.
That's more Zelda like, but why not throw it in. Not too much, but similar how Paper Mario goes.

Ocarina of Time remake with extras, time trials, boss rush, hero mode etc.
Not a half-assed remake plz.

SNES Remix.
N64 Remix
A new F-Zero game.
Zelda Maker

A completely new franchise and see how it goes.

What I WANT to see?

How about them actually treating the Zelda and Pokemon anniversaries like they actually mean something and do something console or video game related to past games instead of all these goddamn Knick-knacks that only scalpers and resellers give two shits about?

I don't want a keychain jukebox that looks like a Game Boy. I want a Game Boy Classic with the Pokemon games built in, maybe even a repro of the Pokemon Mini or a modern Pocket Pikachu. Release R/S/E since they just put out Fire Red and Leaf Green again.

For Zelda, bring Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD to the Switch and Switch 2, or even the 3DS remasters of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask. Maybe if they’re nasty, reproductions of the original Zelda for the NES as that market is hot right now.

Obviously, we could even see Switch hardware in a Zelda or Pokemon anniversary style too.

I want Nintendo to celebrate these anniversaries like they did during the Wii and 3DS era. How they went all out.

As a lifelong Nintendo player, reward me and the rest of us for our loyalty. But then again, Nintendo doesn’t know what the fuck that is these days.

It’s infuriating that private individuals and modders do a better job with their own shit than they do.

Depends how you are counting

But OoT outsold TP if you count rereleases

I'd like to see a Super Princess Peach remaster however controversial it might be. It's definitely my favorite cozy platformer and I play it yearly. I also know it's controversial for the woke crowd.

I just laughed at how dumb this post was. No one gives a shit about super princess peach and its mechanics.
