Hello Everyone! Been scouring the internet for the last few days trying to find a fix for this but no luck, really hoping for a savior here.

Been setting up WiiFlow on my recently modded Wii U's vWii. It works great for GameCube games, no issues. But when launching a Wii game, it loads for a second, then kicks to the Wii main menu. Here is everything I've tried to investigate:

-Happening with all Wii games. The Wii games DO launch in PC Dolphin and USBLoaderGX, so it's not a rom issue.
-Issue occurs when games are stored both on SD and USB (not at the same time, just in testing).
-I have seen posts online of other people using the same HDD with Y cable as mine, plus the GC games working, so I am skeptical it's a hardware issue.
-Game folder structure is correct per the guide
-Forcing cios 249-251, no affect.
-Deleted WiiFlow save in data management, and deleted WiiFlow.ini on SD card.
-Resetting game settings to default has no effect.
-Reinstalling cios, all are up to date and ModMii finds no issues.
-WiiFlow Start Configurator does not find any issues.
-Changed USB ports physically and in settings. Games will not read if the main cable is not in the top port on the back of the Wii U, Y power plug beneath. Changing port settings in WiiFlow doesn't appear to have any impact.
-I have my SysCheck.csv as well.

I feel like I've tried everything I can find online to no avail. I really like the look of WiiFlow over USBLoaderGX, and the only other thing I can think of is to try and remove the mods from my console and try to start from scratch. Really hoping for a solution here.

Your Syscheck looks fine, try deleting Wiiflow completely and doing a fresh reinstall of the most recent version:

Loading Wii games from the SD card should work, but I've ran into issues where some games have that exact same behavior you're describing, so I would just delete the wbfs folder from the SD card and load games from the HDD.

Also, aside from the HDD on the back, do you have anything connected to the front ports? If so that could lead to the HDD not getting enough power.

About the ports I don't remember which is the correct order, and I don't have my console at the moment to test, but I think I plugged the data connector to the bottom port and it worked just fine.

If Wiiflow keeps giving you issues try USB Loader GX just to make sure the problem is not the backup loader:

Thanks for the reply. I was able to try your suggestions this evening but unfortunately no luck. Deleting the WiiFlow folder on the root and in the Apps folder, and then adding the new folders with the most current version did not fix the issue.

Loading the games from the SD was just for testing and they have since been removed.

I currently have a GameCube controller adapter in the front ports, but the issue persists with them unplugged. I can also run GC games just fine from the drive with and without the adaper plugged in, so I don't think it's a drive power issue.

USBLoaderGX is able to run Wii games without issue, only WiiFlow is crashing to the home menu when running Wii games.

Let me know if you have anymore ideas or if there is any more information I can provide.

I would still test everything without the GC controller adapter, just to be sure, the less variables there are while troubleshooting the better.

I seem to remember some of Wiiflow's default settings conflicting with my setup and causing crashes and some games not loading properly the last time I used it. Make sure the ios is set to 249, set the Wii and GameCube games path to USB, disable ocarina cheats and turn emunand and emunand saves to off.
