What do you do when both sides are terrorists?Everyone knows you should never negotiate with terrorists.

Wipe them out. What do you do when both sides are terrorists?
I'd wear the title of "unhelpful" with pride if it related to the bombing of school children.I agree, wasn't their game to play and they had no obligation. But "didn't help" is synonymous with "unhelpful."
Outside of semantics of helpfulness of an uninvolved country in an illegal war, do you have any opinions about the open corruption mentioned?I agree, wasn't their game to play and they had no obligation. But "didn't help" is synonymous with "unhelpful."
It really has come down to "What if" situations now. Whatabout-ism's can't come into play for this level of corruption. There has never been a president openly buying stocks, then pumping the stocks with tweets and making nearly 700 million dollars.Trump's DoJ, led by Trump's personal lawyer, settles Trump's lawsuit to prevent Trump's taxes from ever being inspected, retroactively, also giving billions to Trump's allies.
In another universe, far away, Evil Obama did this and I can hear the screaming from here.

He filed a lawsuit and won, evidently. It really has come down to "What if" situations now. Whatabout-ism's can't come into play for this level of corruption. There has never been a president openly buying stocks, then pumping the stocks with tweets and making nearly 700 million dollars.
At this point the bootlickers can either begrudgingly say that they regret supporting such an openly corrupt criminal, or they can double down and say "Yeah, he's doing it because he's so smart and strong! He beat the law!", further chiseling away at their morality and humanity.
Or, the third weak-ass option as they have continually done to this day: Ignore and hope it blows over. It's not going away. He's robbing the treasury and openly manipulating markets. He will continue to do so for the remainder of the time he is in power.
Which option is it, @Cylent1 @Hanafuda @Foxi4 @urherenow ?
I didn't ask about his corrupt methods of using his personal lawyer running the DOJ to settle a frivolous lawsuit to pay himself taxpayer money. He filed a lawsuit and won, evidently.

I’m a bad person to ask, I’m not a fan of the tax man. As for stock manipulation, however the trade comission wishes to define it, investment carries risk. You’re a random person on the Internet and you believe he’s manipulated the market, investors have access to the same information and should calculate their risk independently.I didn't ask about his corrupt methods of using his personal lawyer running the DOJ to settle a frivolous lawsuit to pay himself taxpayer money.
I asked for your thoughts on the matter. Also, don't forget about the stock buying and blatant market manipulation.
Not really, he basically sued himself for something that happened during his presidency. The lawsuit would most likely been thrown out or at least delayed until he wasn't president, since there was the problem that there were no 2 sides while Trump was president. Then he basically settled with himself, to circumvent the court, but the cherry on top is that it's not him that's paying but the taxpayers. He filed a lawsuit and won, evidently.
All the poiliticians do this, look at the Clintons and Pelosi as prime examples. The there was the Biden's dodgy dealings and pardons...... Unless everyone is held to the same standards nobody is going to care about this.It really has come down to "What if" situations now. Whatabout-ism's can't come into play for this level of corruption. There has never been a president openly buying stocks, then pumping the stocks with tweets and making nearly 700 million dollars.
Well, nobody really is. Unless you have a way of paying zero taxes then your money is going to the slush fund.I’m a bad person to ask, I’m not a fan of the tax man.
You can't possibly be comparing random people investing have access to the same information or ability. As for stock manipulation, however the trade comission wishes to define it, investment carries risk. You’re a random person on the Internet and you believe he’s manipulated the market, investors have access to the same information and should calculate their risk independently.
Huge false equivalence. There is no time in US history that a president, who has power to move stocks with a single tweet, has bought stocks with the intention to manipulate the market. Never even once. Buying stocks when you hear about a merger is also illegal insider trading, but the tweets are in a whole different class of corruption and blatant illegality. All the poiliticians do this, look at the Clintons and Pelosi as prime examples. The there was the Biden's dodgy dealings and pardons...... Unless everyone is held to the same standards nobody is going to care about this.
Why were you not crying about this when Pelosi was doing it! I know why and so does everyone else.... I've yet to see any outrage on here about the fraud going on with Tim Waltz and ilhan omar, I guess some people just have selective outrage depending on their political agenda.Well, nobody really is. Unless you have a way of paying zero taxes then your money is going to the slush fund.

He literally buys stocks of companies that the government is making deals with behind closed doors, then announces that the deal to give them billions of dollars in a tweet. For Palantir, he literally tweeted out the stock name in his comment! Normal people can't do that in any way.

Again, false equivalence. Market manipulation is on a whole different level of illegality than insider trading. The president has the ability to manipulate the market more than any other human on this earth, and he is doing it every day in front of your face. Why were you not crying about this when Pelosi was doing it! "Don't forget weakly trying to say that he "won" the lawsuit where he controls the head of the DOJ who suddenly decided to settle the suit (bypassing any real judgements) and then giving himself $1.8 billion.Really? The "counter arguments" are just whataboutism, false equivalency, and "Taxes bad"
Right wingers here are a joke.
Don't forget also that Todd Blanche was Trump's own criminal defense attorney, who defended him on a bunch of pretty important cases (see block below). I'd say it is pretty safe to say that, even though he is the head of the DOJ, he isn't working for the best interests of the American people...he's working in the best interests of his #1 client:Don't forget <snip> where he controls the head of the DOJ who suddenly decided to settle the suit (bypassing any real judgements) and then giving himself $1.8 billion.
Todd Blanche also refused to say that none of the money would be going to a Jan 6er who was caught molesting two children. So that's an odd hill to die on. Epstein should have waited to un-alive himself a little longer. Seems the GOP would welcome him as a hero at this point.
| Case Name | Description | Status |
|---|---|---|
| New York Hush Money Case | Trump faced 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to hush money payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. | Convicted |
| Federal Classified Documents | This case involved allegations that Trump mishandled classified documents after leaving office. | Ongoing |
| Election Obstruction | Blanche defended Trump against charges related to attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. | Ongoing |
Yep, he's also the one who got Maxwell moved to Club Fed prison. Where she is treated like royalty, and any other inmate that complains is moved to a much worse one. Forgot about that extra level of corruption. It never ends.Don't forget also that Todd Blanche was Trump's own criminal defense attorney, who defended him on a bunch of pretty important cases (see block below).
