Hi anyone know if it is possible to to use a 90069gg on the edm 010 instead of the 90061gg? on the edm 030 there is a resistor which you can change the position to change from 69gg to 61g etc, on the edm 010 i dont see this resistor anywhere.

The reason why i am looking to change to 69gg is because i am doing an experiment of migrating edm 030 APU bundle (apu, ssd and tpm chip) to EDM 010 board, i have successfully mounted all the hardware on it but using the edm 010 bios give me to TPM 2.0 or power failure error and i suppose it is due to the bios not supporting the 6nm APU from the edm 030 board and above. I tried flashing the edm 030 bios with 61gg on it but because the wifi is using xm-546 there is always a wifi /bt error due to the wrong wifi chip being installed and edm 010 only comes with the j2h100 wifi chip.

I tried changing the wifi chip to the xm-546 but it did not work with other wifi error and i figured it is because the board is designed to work with j2h100 there is no way to swap the wifi unless someone knows what other components needs to be swapped for it to work.

My only option now is to swap the southbridge to 69gg as the EDM 030 bios with j2h100 are all using 69gg southbridge. Do provide some information if you know .

69gg actually just work out of the box but still getting the same wifi error, i guess the bios code just doesnt support reading wifi from this boardm it might link to a different data line from he southbridge compare to edm 030

Could you tell me which resistor needs to be adjusted? from 69gg to 61g

The switchable 1 Ohm resistor should be only present at a edm-03x board.

Position A for 69GG is connecting the 3.3V_SS_PG1 to southbridge pad 4C.
Position B for 61GG is grounding this line.

At other board versions, I don't know if a 69GG will works propper without 3.3V at pad 4C.
Additional in the BIOS the SB section must be changed to the matching southbridge.
