So wait do I get this right; said dumps work perfectly fine twilight menu, but their dsi enhancements just wont work/trigger? It's like that, right?
The DSi enhancements will work fine, as those games run in DSi mode by default.

Hi, this is my first post and I am very new to nds homebrewing. I believe this is the correct thread to reply to.

Today I have set up two different DSi consoles, and they are both setup with TWiLightMenu/Unlauncher. Have launched and played a few games with no trouble so far.

My question is, am I able to swap their SD card between each other? One is 16 Gb and the other is only 2 Gb, since I didn't want to use my 128 Gb card for this. Would swapping their SD cards loaded with roms cause any issues? the biggest reason I'm asking is because one of the consoles has shoulder buttons that don't really work 90% of the time, and that's the console with the higher storage card. I've set them both up exactly the same, but I won't swap cards out if it could cause problems.

I appreciate all the info I have read on this forum.

Thanks for your time!

Yes, you can swap the SD cards without issues.

Are ROM hacks known to have issues with GBARunner2/3? I have tried using both for Pokemon Inclement Emerald and Emerald Imperium, GBARunner2 always crashes with Inclement whenever Pokemon cries are altered (Growl, low HP/status pitching cries down, etc) and GBAR3 sometimes does not crash, but the cries are garbled. Imperium does not launch at all with GBAR2 or 3.

getting error code: 0xc8804478 on launch of twilight menu? not sure what i did wrong :( please help

im trying to download srloader(twlmenu) v0.01 v0.10 v1.00 and the download doesnt work the source code downloads do work 10.01 is the earliest download

IS-TWL uses 32MB RAM (two 16MB).
isx-twl-cpu_ram.jpg
Has anyone tried installing 32MB RAM in a DSipanda?
Or two 16MB RAM? How are two 16MB RAM chips connected?
(DSipanda might be able to install dev debugger system through TwlSystemUpdater? The difference between dev standalone and debugger seems to be HNA*/Launcher.)
(I think that even if additional RAM is installed and the dev debugger system is successfully installed, ordinary apps still cannot use the extra RAM?)

If there is 32MB RAM, can gbarunner2/3 run better?

Hi, just registered to try and ask here. Yesterday I updated my DSi firmware to last version, followed dsi.cfw.guide and installed Unlaunch. I installed only Unlaunch because I just want to launch games from my R4 cart, I'm not interested in anything else. This R4 cart works both on 3DS and DS Lite, and worked on DSi before the update. Now I get the blocked cart error (yes, with Unlaunch installed and working). Is there anything I can do? Thanks in advance.

There are several ways to boot the old flashcard.

- You can try launching the flashcard from TWiLightMenu++. (Recommend)
Set Unlaunch startup items: TWiLightMenu++
TWiLightMenu++ → SELECT menu → Launch Slot-1 card
Or set autoboot cartridge: TWiLightMenu++ Misc.settings → Auto-start Slot-1:Yes
(If you want to cancel autoboot cartridge: hold SELECT button while launching TWiLightMenu++, and you will enter the settings.)

- Use Unlaunch to boot the old flashcard.
(Note that when launching the cartridge this way, the Wi-Fi status LED will not light up, but the Wi-Fi is actually on.)
Set Unlaunch startup items: TWiLightMenu++'s Slot-1 Launcher(sdmc:/_NDS/TWiLightMenu/slot1launch.srldr)

- Install HiyaCFW (created using a lower system version of DSi NAND), and boot the old flashcard from HiyaCFW.

- Use TDT to install old 'DSi Firmware', and downgrade the DSi.
(Back up the NAND first.)
(If the DSi's wifi board is DWM-W024 or J27H020, do not install the old wlanfirm.)

- There is also a Simple DS Slot-1 Launcher, but I tried it, and it cannot start some old flashcards.

Do I really need to use Twlight Menu in my case? I didn't install it, just Unlaunch, because I just want to use my cart and I'm not interested in anything else.

About downgrading, NAND is backed up, I did it while installing Unlaunch. But I thought downgrading wasn't recommended? I mean, yeah I will do it with a tutorial, just because my cart worked and I don't actually know the benefits of upgrading the DSi firmware and I would prefer to just go back anf forget about cfw on the DSi.

hi! i installed nocash unlaunch on my dsi and i want to remove it ,the "uninstall" file don't work and idk why HELP ME PLEASSSSEEEEE

i think you can use twlmenu to read files from the flash cart and get dsi enhancments for dsiware
r4's usialy run in ntr/nds mode not dsi/twl mode
